Hector Longo is the reason I stopped reading the Eagle Tribune. Ever since he and Belichick got into that little tiff at the press conference last year, he's had a blatant vendetta against the Pats. He even went so far as to take personal shots at some of the players during preseason (apparently Ty Law is one of the few not on his sh*t list). Fortunately for Pats fans, he is such a talentless hack that his agenda-driven drivel isn't considered fit for a publication that anyone actually reads.

This is the last article of Longo's that I read before vowing to never read his trash again. I'd made good on that promise too, up until "HOF2" posted the link in this thread and tricked me into reading it without realizing who the author was.

I hate to post the link and give this clown hits, but it really shows what he's all about:

Coach Bill Belichick is a huge proponent of the adage that last year is history. It doesn't matter. This team doesn't believe it, though. And the tone is being set by the coach. Troy Brown at nickel-back on defense? Dan Klecko, the starting fullback? This is not an attempt at flexibility in the 53-man roster. It is mocking the NFL, the opposition and the fans, who paid 80 bucks to come sit in a monsoon, after paying $35 to park for an event that means nothing anyway.

He also accuses Seymour of being a diva, and suggests out of left field that Matt Light will mail it in because he's in a contract year.

It's the only article that's ever inspired me to write an angry e-mail. Hector Longo is nothing but an irrelevant, Belichick-hating worm, who will write anything for attention. As a very wise man once said, "He gets no more time in my mouth."
