Boardwalk Empire should also be on that short list. Great storytelling and acting.

Not a series, but, just watched Uncut Gems. I'm NOT a fan of Adam Sandler, but, it looked interesting. It's his best movie, bar none. The ending makes it all worthwhile. Kevin Garnett is also innit.

Another "not really a series" but Amazon has "Classic Albums" back.

They were originally on A&E IIRC, and each documentary tells the back story of the making of one album by a specific band.

The Pink Floyd one for Dark Side of the Moon is fabulous.

The speaking bits you hear sprinkled around through the album? Paul McCartney & Wings was recording at the same time in an adjacent studio and they asked a set of questions to his band and roadies.

The one for Apostrophe for Zappa was amazing. Dweezil worked the mixing pannel to show just how complex the songs were.

I also found out that Tina Turner and the other "Ike ettes" did vocals on that album.

The Grateful Dead one is pretty good too. Long bits of interview with Robert Hunter which is cool because he's very much a recluse.

Started watching Homeland about a week ago.

Just through episode 2 of Season 5. What a fantastic show.

Clare Danes is great and not bad to look at. Mandy Patinkin is also great but he will forever be Indigo Montoya to me.

I love those shows. Saw Floyd. Metallica Black album. Def Leppard Pyromania. Kansas Point OC No Return.

The behind the scenes production stuff is excellent

Just finished binging Longmire, Frontier, and The Ranch, looking for something else to watch but haven't had much luck looking on Netflix.

I'm watching series one of 'The Wire' again. It really is a work of art with immaculate writing and acting. It's one of the greates shows of all time without question.

Watching Touch with Keifer Sutherland and a young boy about the interconnected nature of all people through math and numbers.

I disagree with the determistic premise completely but its a beautiful and wonderfully moving show that unfortunately was only on for 2 seasons.

Been quiet in this thread because I’ve been ripping through all 4 seasons of The Last Kingdom.

Fantastic!

They’re hoping to do a 5th season but no agreement yet. Hope it happens!
