I see the NE defense having a huge game, taking advantage of Schaub's mistakes, and playing aggressively. This is a game made for Spikes, and I expect he'll deliver.

While I don't expect a blowout like the last game, if the Pats can take Foster out of the Texans game plan, another blowout could happen. Stopping Foster will be a focus of Belichick again in this game to take away the PA Pass. The Pats held Foster to 46 yds in the first game (iirc) and if that happens again, the Texans' hopes fall on Schaub. I wouldn't bet on Schaub winning the game for them myself.

The Texans enjoyed a nice easy pace from the Bengals last week who ran 48 plays from scrimmage. The Pats will use the no huddle to push that closer to 90-95 plays. Watt is the real deal but he couldn't withstand that pace in the first game. Tempo will be fast.

This game matches 2 good teams but the Texans are playing with WWII munitions and tactics against the Pats who are playing with JDAMs, Patriot missiles, Palladins, stealth fighters and Abrams tanks. That goes for personnel but especially for coaching and scheme.

Having Gronk back should be a big factor in this game. He wasn't able to play in the first game. He's an X Factor for me going into this one. It's nice to have both Gronk and A. Hernandez together for only the 4th game this year.

Turnovers have been an X Factor for me in every game for the Pats this year. I expect Talib to be back and healthy. If we can limit Schaub to 3 yds/completion (+ 4.5 YAC) as the Bengals did, we should be fine.

I think the Pats will only bring the light-speed offense out in the beginning and if necessary afterward. I suspect that is going to be a big part of the Denver attack, so they don't want to burn the guys out this week.

Minor point here, Em, but you might want to get permission for use of that "NFL Today" theme at the beginning. CBS still owns that, and they can get crotchety about stuff like that.

Thanks Gang! Good point about Schaub there Chevss! Having both TEs ready just makes it that much more tougher for a defense. You're also right Tommy good call with that one as well...don't want issues

The Broncos were able to hold their own up front vs the Ravens. You pretty much know where/how the Ravens will run at you. You guys are pretty creative in blocking and creating opportunities in the run game.

Or maybe Denver could care less about Flacco throwing and decided to play the run most of the game. In the Pats game against Denver, Denver was so scared of the pass, they stayed in Nickle the entire game.
