I thought he said no thanks to everybody in the NFL. Read an article from Oregon that expressed relief that he was sticking around. Go figure.

He did lol.

He told the Browns he'd be there couch, then interviewed with Eagles and told them he wanted to be their coach, then flew back to Oregon and told his staff and players that he was going to stay with Oregon.

Now he's the Eagles coach.

Lets see if he is one of few college HC that has success in the pro's . nick Saban & Steve spurrier were elite HC in college coach. Both were failures in PRO's

I think that was right after he had lunch with Saban.

Reports say the Eagles have stayed in contact after the Brian Kelly interview. Probably sweetened the pot.

Beaglebay has disabled reputation
Mostly all of the Ducks are happy for him, think he'll have great success, and pledge to become Eagle fans.

I'm disappointed that 8-hour interview with Billick went nowhere. It would be nice to have guaranteed Patriots wins back in the league again.

I think that college coaches that didn't find success in the NFL had a hard time dealing without the benefit of having elite talent 2-3 deep at every postion. I know that's why Butch Davis & Steve Spurrier failed.

Chip Kelly, on the othet hand, had some good players but not the best of the best. He is extremely inovated & relies on scheme more than great talent.

Also as I said earlier, the NFL is now getting ideas from college. Not the other way around. BB didn't call Chip Kelly, or go to Florida to talk to Urban Meyer, beacuse he had nothing better to do.
