Just finished the DVR recording.

Lee was excellent! What a pick up. These types of almost routine grabs are what affords Bill to swing for the fences in the 2nd.

Butler not so much. That 3rd and 10 hold late and the sideline mouth back to Bill earns an office visit. I’d expect to see a bag of peas on 21s ear tomorrow.

Lewis is a stud. Burkhead too.

The way they officiate against Gronk is straight up wrong. But I won’t excuse his play on the penalty. Control your bad self big guy.

TB needs to do a better job taking a bit of criticism. Publicly lashing out at JMc like that is bush league. Control your bad self GOAT.

Hope the injury situation doesn’t grow.

Get outta town. 10-2 is excellent.

The Bills - Week 13, Buffalo

Overall there were many good things on display and a few not so good.

Brady wasn't consistently sharp although he did make some nice throws. OL was inconsistent in pass protection. Way too many penalties including a bunch of presnap calls. Lee Rex Lewis all had great games. So did Gronk. Gronk penalty was a shit play but he's not known for that so I'll give him a pass once.

All that said the NFL needs to do something about the second set of rules governing Gronk. How Bb doesn't inundate the league office with video after video of that horseshit is beyond me. He one positive of the Gronk penalty is every time that replay is shown this week the world will also be watching biased and incompetent officiating on full display.

10-2 is great. Let's keep taking care of business.

I don't think anyone is excusing what he did. But I don't expect him to do it again and I'm sure BB will put him in his place. This is likely the last we see of it.

Can't say the same about the bullshit officiating.

I refuse to get mad at Gronk...he is getting messed with in every game.

Not even a little pissed at him.

These refs are the problem...

That's how I saw it, too.
It was obvious Brady needed a Snickers since he wasn't Brady to begin the game. Something was very very off with him mentally or emotionally. His passes were off, he missed seeing open guys & his attitude sucked. No one wanted to sit near him on the bench...something was off.

Butler is giving great effort and all that but when he loses he gets frustrated and that makes him more aggressive. He's having a hard time realizing he's not perfect and that sometimes a receiver makes a great play. Ok, put it behind you and move on...

Lee was outstanding. 2 wks to get up to speed with our "oh so difficult to learn" defensive schemes and he plays like a well seasoned Sheard? Idk, maybe it's bc he knows the Bills' plays and blocking schemes from going up against them in practice. Whatever it was, he was terrific. BB will have fun pointing out his successes & making him an example to the other DLs on Tuesday.

Gronk's cheap hit is inexcusable. Period.
1st offense + immediate apology vs hit to the head + after the whistle + 27 facing the ground defenseless.
I expect a game suspension regardless of the recent incidents that didn't get a suspension. IF any good comes out of this it's that the refs will begin to give him some of the calls that have been ignored for so long.

The Bills are very good against the pass. I think that is what was frustrating Brady early in the game. What irked me was McDaniels offensive game plan. The Bills are HORRIBLE vs the run as we saw and yet he had Brady passing to start the game, to start the third quarter and to end the game. It was infuriating. Every time Lewis or Burkhead touched the ball it felt like a 10 yard gain.

In terms of Gronk, that whole sequence when we were at the 1 is squarely on McDaniels/BB. There was NO reason to be throwing there except to get out of the shadow of the goalline which they did with the first pass to Gronk. After that it should have been run, run, run. We were up by 20 with less than 5 to go with Peterman at QB. To have Brady throwing there was asinine especially to Gronk. I don't blame the Bills for getting chippy at that point. Gronk should have never been in that position and on top Brady gets a pick. Just DUMB and that is on McD and BB IMO.

In terms of the refs, just horrible. But what else is new? I have zero expectation that games will be called well. James White was a yard short of that first down inside the 20 and they somehow give him the first. Gronk was mugged as was our Dline most of the day and not one call. Butler was basically holding on every play I saw of him and he only got called once. Just atrocious.

Lee was a total stud. More of him please.

The guy was undrafted and signed off another team's practice squad less than two weeks ago. I think he might get more in tune with the Pats' D by playoffs.

DougKyed: Phillip Dorsett and Brandin Cooks were wide open on the incompletion that sparked the screaming match between McDaniels and Brady.

I was screaming about the receiver at the top of the image during that play too.

Would have been a walk-in TD
