According to the pro football hall of fame site Joe Montana
holds exactly 2 NFL paasing record:

[1st] Most Consecutive Passes Completed 22 (vs. Cleveland {5} Nov. 29, 1987; vs. Green Bay {17} Dec. 6, 1987)
[1st] Most Consecutive Games, 300 or More Yards Passing 5 (1982)

The "greatest' pure passer has, what 62 records D22? Yet I bet most people would take Joe Montana to win a big game every day of the week, especially Sunday...

Cement this......The "Famous" Dink & Dunker ....Just think how easy it will be to become a Tom Brady compared to a Dan Marino

Know kids only have to be able to throw 7-10 yds tops and spend the rest of that free extra time they'll have not having to master the position anymore, they can search for a great Kicker like Adam V.

It's way too hard especially for all these lazy bastard kids to master the QB position & is all is they want anyway is the jewelry. not the self respect in being the best you can be

OH !!! Yea!!! Now here is someone who should "Shut the FU**CK up...Boomer that in-famous loser & QB of the famous "Bungles" has about as much respect throughout the NFL world as you do

That would be none !!!!!!...next time talk to someone who knows something..that also would jnot be Boomer or you...
You are right. Boomer knows jack about football.

But he can openly dog your boy Marino to his face with no reprisal.

It's sad (really...really sad) that the only clown of those 3 whoever won anything is Shannon "bricks in the mouth" Sharpe.

Hey stupid ..if any of you knew anything about football, or had an ounce of intelligence, I may actuallt take account in what you say

Did you know that Joe Montanna was asked this specific question in his 17th yr. with KC when playing Miami

"Joe, you have all the rings and Dan has all the QB records"
Honestly I can't remember if he asked if he would trade or what but he did reply this quote)

Joe replied : Let me tell you all something, If Dan Marino had a Roger Craig, the 1st 1,000 yd RB with 1,000 yds recieving, WR's like Clark, Taylor & Jerry Rice along with the #1 TE in Brent Jones, not to mention the top 1-9 defence in the NFL....Dan Marino would have twice as many rings as i have,,,

Thats a class act, and an honest reply...I will always bow to JM for that statement & had all the resoect in the world before that anyway, that just confirmed his class..

Unlike you idiots who don't really know anything about anything

D22...

I would be interested in hearing from you your opinion on Tom Brady vs Joe Montana. If you could compare & contrast their style of play and accomplishments, that would be great.

Thanks.

I don't get why Boomer thinks he can say shit about Marino when he not only has the same # of rings as him (none) but also isn't even close in terms of stats. I laughed when I heard Carson Palmer was the Bengals 1st QB to throw for 4,000 yrds in a season, because I thought for sure Boomer had done it, but he didn't. He couldn't even reach 4,000, let alone 5,000.

As I've said before, I keep waiting for the day Marino just loses it and teabags Boomer Central Catholic style.

I will say Brady is a tough, confident, short accurate passer and very good under pressure, just like Drew Brees, Carlon Palmer, Trent Green, Matt Hassleback & Chad Peddington etc...Only all of these QB's were more accurate in there downfield throwing as was "Joe Montanna" ...thats Brady's biggest downfall

There is no Tom Brady vs Joe Montanna until Tom Brady plays for 11 more years such as all the Great ones, and plays with consistancy, then he will be recognized as a QB with a Legacy

Right now he is nothing but a 2nd teare QB in the catagory of Delomme, Palmers, Plummer etc...only with a "TEAM" 3 Superbowl rings, he's no better than any of these QB's I mentioned & more

I understand the ring is what you play for etc..and all that hoopla...but to put Tom Brady on such a high level is sickening...especially because I'm not convinced along with millions of other NFL fans he should have even been in any of these 3 SB's because of the contraversy surounding all of them

Here are a few more real numbers for my sick argument about how great Dan Marino actually is even with no "Jewelry" But will be able to sleep with the amount of respect he has as a QB

Most All-Time Victories from Startin QB
1. J. Elway - 148-82 -1 - .643%
2. D.Marino - 147-93 -0 - .613%
3. F. Tarkenton - 125-109-6 - .533%

Most Pass yds in NFL Post Season History
1. J.Montanna - 5,772 - 23 gms
2. J. Elway - 4,964 - 22 gms
3. B. Favre - 4,902 - 20 gms
4. D. Marino - 4,510 - 18 gms
(240yd /5gms diff. from JM) - Dan the Choker !!

Most TD Passes in NFL Post Season History
1. J.Montanna - 45
2. B.Favre - 34
3. D. Marino - 32
4. TBradshaw - 30
5. J.Elway - 22
(5 SuperBowl rings below DM) Dan the Choker!!

NFL Record of TD passes in Consecutive Play-off Gms
1. B. Favre - 16 gms
2. D. Marino - 13 gms
3. J.Montanna- 10 gms
4. J. Elway - 9 gms
(At least Joe & John didn't lose when they choked )

get my point...what does it all mean....and how you or anyone can trash Marino when he is the least of QB's in the history of the sport to blame for not having a Superbowl ring...

All you FU**CK Heads because [1] your "Idiots" and [2] you all hate Manning because he is the "Greatest" QB since 2000 would have still called him a "Choker" if he threw 7 TD's & 462 yds and even ran 2 TDs in but lost to Chicago by a FG....

Smarten up !!!!!

Marino is a douche bag who couldn't win the big one. He crumbled when he had to step up. That's his legacy. That's why Peyton was the "Dan Mario" of this generation until he won the big one. Marino is a loser. He's only sacred among the Miami d!ick suckers.

Maybe you should chip in and get Marino a "Best pure passer" ring. lol

All those numbers are real pretty to look at and must make you and the other crazies feel good.

But really it doesn't change the FACT that, FOREVER, whenever someone talks about Marino they will ALWAYS mention that he never won the big one. All the postseason TD passes in the world won't change that.

When Brady finally joins Danny boy in their hall, he'll be bringing at least 3 rings with him.

GREATEST TO NEVER WIN JACK SHIT!

Hey "Shitbreathe" .... I just posted the actual All-Time Best of QB's records in reg, season & Post season with Marino on top of all of them in NFL History with all the greats...

How is your comment worth a shit with nothing but "He doesn't have a Ring" for an argument... FU**CH Head???

Seens how the Patriot 3 Rings are all tarnished with unethical calls & referee favortism, not to mention being the worst "TEAM" to ever enter into a Superbowl, with all this and much more these rings as "TOM BRADY" quotes are the least respected team in the NFL...

Maybe Dan can throw Brady $10-$20 bucks for 1 of them...shit thats $5.00 more than a disresoected, tainted SuperBowl ring is worth in a Pawn shop

Maybe if Dan asks nicely and adresses him as Mr. Brady, Tom will show him what a superbowl ring looks like
