OBJ pipedream

It seems like he's on the outs with the Giants, but I think to myself, what what would we be able to give up for him without giving up the farm? When you look to the future, Cooks will be the eventual #1 to replace J11, but if you package a first, second, and some other compensation, we could snatch him up. Imagine OBJ/Edelman/Cooks/Gronk/Hogan and if we draft Goedert to be the eventual successor to Gronk, good lord!

A big fat NO for me. Dont need him, serious cap hit and the price will be too high. I'd much rather have Suh who would fix a big need and dont cost any draft picks.

I'm not trying to pick on you here, but it always gives me a smile when somebody wants to bring a talented dickhead to Foxboro.

We don't do dickheads unless they are willing to play for chump change.

That effectively eliminates any chance of that particular diva coming to town.

There have been a few dickheads who have played for us: Talib, Harrison(s), Randy Moss is a mini asshole. Corey Dillon.

See, this is where you are wrong. 8 years ago, BB traded for Chad Johnson, and even though Johnson re-did his deal to sign on the cheap, and BB admitted the trade was a mistake (https://www.patspulpit.com/2018/1/31...-is-on-the-way), that trade PROVES that every time a team is disgusted with some diva WR who wants to make more money than every other WR in the history of the NFL, BB is hot to trot to sign that guy.

Try and keep up, okay? Remember, whenever a team doesn't want a me-first player, it means BB wants that player, and whenever a player says he wants to play for the Pats, it means BB REALLY wants him (as long as he is a diva/misfit).

Looks like Suh is heading for the Rams. That will be some defense they have, IF Suh learns to behave, which I doubt...

The real star of that defense is of course Aaron Donald so Suh will have to learn to play 2nd fiddle.

Being a successful WR in the Patriots offensive system requires more than athletic ability and speed. Complete dedication to your craft, a love of the game and the ability to make the same reads on the fly at the QB who's been pulling the strings for 18 years are all in the job description.

I am skeptical of anyone coming in and just making it work, especially the diva types.

Moss worked because he was both athletic and football smart. I am not saying OBJ isn't, but it hasn't been the primary factor on his resume.

We don't need OBJ and his baggage. Dallas would be a great landing spot however.
