After watching last night, I can't wait to see what the future holds for Hightower. As of now Spikes is our most physical linebacker but Hightower is quickly closing the gap. I couldn't believe that play where he absolutely helicoptered Gore. He had a couple other good hits as well.

I remember that one, man that was sick. It sounds wrong, but after watching last night, I really do not fear any team at this point. I think going through these two games will help us in the playoffs.

We have to remember that this is still a very young team, especially on defense. Games like these last two are great learning points. It is a shame we do not have a bye at this point, but that could change too. Like any team, we are not invincible (yet) but are headed in the right direction. I still remember the early Brady years where we'd lose a game and always win the rematch. let's hope we get a rematch with these 49ers.

I don't know how anybody can have a problem with what Bolden has done on the field. It mystifies me. If somebody wants to gripe about the suspension, then fine, but the guy has averaged 5.4 a carry with 2 TDs and zero fumbles in 45 attempts.

That's a better average than Arian Foster or Marshawn Lynch. It's a yard more per carry than Stevan Ridley who now has 4 fumbles.

It's a legitimate question to ask why Bolden did not get a shot last night. I was asking myself the same thing. We could have used a running game when SF decided to go with two and three down linemen late in the game when there was still time for us to grind a score out. The only answer I could come up with is that BB isn't satisfied with his pass blocking. I dunno. If he was active then it was a questionable decision to sit him.

He cost us nothing and has shown himself to be a powerful, quick back with a bona-fide ability to break tackles. The guy was a free agent and has had over 150 yards in a game when he got a shot.

If the Pats waived him he'd last about 3 seconds before getting scooped up by whoever was the first team that had a shot at him.

Bolden. Not a JAG. Not even close and he'll prove that as soon as he gets a legit shot.
Yeah, but how will Bolden be without his trusty perfomance enhancing Drugs? I really liked what he brought before being suspended...in Belichick we must trust.

He was not taking steroids, I am not sure it had a big affect on his physical make-up.
