To Robert, Bill, Tom and all the Patriots...

... on another successful, fun, frustrating, joyous, and epic regular season... It's behind us and in the Books. As in each of the previous 11 previous regular seasons, no one in the division has won more games. We have another hat and T, we have another bye-week, we have as usual, viable Superbowl dreams. May they come true.

For delivering to us these moments of hope and expectations, L'chaim, Cheers, fervant thanks.

The last time I felt this way was as a teenager rooting for the Celts in the 60's. We have been blessed for sure with this Pats team.

I try real hard to not take what they have done and continue to do not for granted. We are truly spoiled and it sure feels great after the lean decades in the 70's and most of the 80's. Go get #4 Patriots!

We are spoiled. This small post is as much as a message to myself as anyone. We are so spoiled that anything short of a SB is deemed a failure. What an incredible position to be in.

I believe history will (it always has) recognize that winning it all is A) Hard and B) a bit of a crap shoot involving luck. And that consistency is perhaps the greatest measure.

I want me to stop for a moment and just realize, recognize and appreciate what a DAMN THING it is for us to be standing in this same spot year in and year out. While our hopes and dreams will live or die with what happens next, ninety-five percent of America's football fans would kill just to be where we are. Or anywhere near where we are.

Cheers, BostonTim

When things are going on you get spoiled, thats just how it is...5-10 years from now, thats when it sinks in, not just for pats fans, but for everyone. The bad thing is the team puts us in position to be spoiled, but yeah being a true SB contender in most years for the past decade is amazing.

Excellent post BT. Having been a fan of some terrible Pats teams, I really try hard to never take this for granted. I tell my kids that they are so lucky because all they can remember is the Robert Kraft Patriots. Everytime I watch this team I wish time would stand still so the we can continue to witness excellence. We nit and pick about things that other teams wouldn't even consider, worrying about seeding when most teams are just happy to get to the dance. Got to love being a fan of the New England Patriots.

I echo BT sentiment. Thank you Mr. Kraft, Bill, Tom, and the rest of the team. Have a great New Year.

12-4 is underachieving for this team. They need to make up for it in the 'yoffs.

For me, it used to be that it was a successful season if we won a playoff game. There were only 3 other times where that happened (before BB took charge). The only other times it happened were under Raymond Berry, Bill Parcells, and Pete Carroll.

I like it much better now.

This is really down to Belichick imho.

Look around. Black Monday...how many coaches have gotten fired?

We keep hearing about all these coaches and others who served under BB. Jim Schwarz, Scott Pioli, Josh McDaniels and so many others. Yet what do they ever achieve away from New England? Zippo, nothing.

In this day and age to do what he does is miraculous.

Best coach ever in the NFL.
