I despise condo associations and HOA and wouldn't be caught dead living in a place where they have control.

When the wife and I were looking for a house back in 04, there was 1 house that we were seriously interested in seeing. We got the grand tour of the place and it was a very nice home but then I got to talking to the owner about the HOA.

They told me you weren't allowed to have more than 2 cars and no trailers or any kind of toy stored outside. That was a deal breaker for us and we never even made them an offer. I can't imagine owning a home and having someone else tell me what I can and can't store outside of it.

On the other hand, before we got married my wife was renting a house. Nice ranch with a large backyard that was bordered by a hill full of pines that led to a lake. It came up for a sale and I wanted to buy it. The reason I didn't? The guy next door had a backyard full of junks.

Hey that's fine if you don't mind being told what you can and can't have in and around your own house but I have a problem with it. Freedom of choice is a great thing.

I was just giving the other side of the argument. A tricycle in the driveway is one thing. A backyard full of rusted out junks is another. Not only is it unsightly, it hurts the value of your house. So in a way they were impacting my freedom of choice.

There's a difference between junk and storing a trailer with sleds on it, or a boat or wheelers or a camper, that is what this HOA was restricting and those items are very, very popular up here. I wouldn't live in a trashy neighborhood either, luckily most of these junkyards are outside of the muni.

In my neighborhood, I only know if a couple of houses that don't have any kind of toy stored outside and this is a very nice and well respected neighborhood.

HOA living isn't for everyone, how about we leave it at that?

I guess the quest for fair and balanced news includes firing anyone who has criticized Trump.

Interesting. They seem to state that the site is closed down.

"Conservative outlet RedState fired most of its staff Friday while its owner, Salem Media, froze the site, citing an inability to "no longer support the entire roster of writers and editors."

"The site name will linger, but RedState is all but dead now. I have invited the fired writers here," Erick Erickson, a RedState founder who left the site in 2015, wrote in a blog post."

A couple of the writers let go made claims that only the libs were let go, but the site is frozen.

Those pesky facts getting in the way again.

Typical. Your inaccurate post gets outed and you just move on to the next.

If you donít think that CNN has a very active agenda against Trump, take a look at CNN.com right now and try to argue otherwise.

They very clearly do. Every once in a while I pop onto their website to see what they have deemed "important" for their sheeple. Propaganda. They are a machine.

I agree. I personally loathe much of what Trump has done and seems to exemplify, but CNN has made it into a personal vendetta. Nothing positive, just a wholesale attack from every possible angle.
