May 14th Has a History of Strange Things Happening...

https://www.apnews.com/3884ea5ef0084d7a9e8a7d48c03fb69e

Could something strange happen?

If it does, be prepared to pay much more for fuel...among other things.

Pray tell, what "strange things" are you talking about?

I'll take a stab in the dark and suggest it's this.

1948 – Israel is declared to be an independent state and a provisional government is established. Immediately after the declaration, Israel is attacked by the neighboring Arab states, triggering the 1948 Arab–Israeli War.

Feel free to point out the "strange things".

I'm certain the items you select will say more about you than the events.

Oh and also, explain why those particular events are more "strange" than a host of similar events that occurred on the other 364.2422 days of the year.

Oh and before you get all up in a non rant here.

I'll defuse your insistence that the burden of proof lies with me to disprove your assertion about "strange things" occurring on May 14th by asserting that there were no more "strange things" on May 14th than any other day in the year.

Prove me wrong.

Well thank you for clarifying just what "strange things" occurred on the 14th of May with your witty riposte.

I see you still are not answering my question.

So I’ll stick with my original claim.

The formation of Israel is the one and only “strange thing” you were thinking of.

Prove me wrong.

That’s not hard. All you have to do is cite other “strange things”.

Well, BSF has frequently proven what an anti-Semite he is (despite claiming that he has a Jewish surname, which doesn’t even necessarily make one Jewish!). Should we be surprised?
