We have apx 17m i free cap Space for 2018.
We can cut Bennett (+6,1m), Allen (+5m), Harris (+2m), Branch (3,5m) Gillislee (+2m), to generate 18,5m, giving a total of 35,5m.

That money need to be spent on re-signing or replacing Solder, Burkhead, Slater, Amendola and Lewis. Other patriots FAs that might be re-signed are Harrison, Ebner and M. Flowers.

Let's say we get these players signed for a total 20m cap hit for 2018. It would leave us 15,5m. That must cover the draft. We also lose Butler who must be replaced. With Bademosi also gone we will be thin at CB. We have dumped both Bennett and Allen, leaving us with Gronk at TE.

Value picks will be key in FA.

I wonder if we redo Bennett. Scrap his GB deal and do something more team friendly. Assuming he does not retire.

I hope priority #1 is Lewis.

Bennett is a bit risky since he's been talking retirement for over a year. I don't want to be in a position similar to Alan Branch with him next year. Branch collected his pay check and mailed it in this year.

Lewis is good but I'd rather get a lesser paid tried and true guy signed first - Amendola. Then I turn to Solder. Then if Lewis is looking for too much, Burkhead becomes key. So many things to wrap up in house. I wouldn't mind seeing James Harrison re-signed.

We still have Hollister too, with a second year jump he could really improve.

DA should be priority.

I wouldn’t mind an easy out deal for the team with Marty.

Gilislee dropped and the $ paid to DLew is a no brainer to me.

Harrison is here. Played strong. I’d love to see him stick around while the supporting cast is boosted.

Unfortunately, 35+M is not a lot of space this year. There are teams with close to $100M in space so the cash will be flowing for the higher end FA's, not that BB has pursued too many of those.

I think Slater and Amendola sign for team friendly deals, I just can't see either of them wanting to play anywhere else.

I think we can just forget about day 1 of FA, maybe also day 2. Maybe we sign a solid player if solder leaves. I just hope we sign a couple of veterans in hunt for a ring to bolster our front 7.

I actually hope Amendola gets a good deal. The man deserves to get paid.

The Eagles are in much worse shape than the Pats.

They enter the off season $4.6 million over the salary cap, so they'll need to clear out some cap space to sign their draft class and fill in their roster. But Philly has a problem - most of their roster is players that are locked in through 2018.

OT Jason Peters is one of the few exceptions. He's coming off an ACL and he's 36 years old. The best thing for the Eagles would be for Peters to return after a pay cut, but failing that, they can designate him as a post-June 1 release to free up $8 million in cap room.

Fletcher Cox is another one who is likely headed for a restructuring. He's due $11.5M in 2018 and a restructuring could turn most of that into a signing bonus to free up $9M. He's only 27 years old.

And they have lost several coaches on top. I like Pederson and I think the Eagles repeat as East champions but Wentz will be a wild card coming off the ACL/LCL which happened late in the season. Also just from their post-SB comments, they don't seem like a group that has the will/determination that it takes to get back again. JMO.

I love Amendola as much as the next guy, he's clutch, and locked in with tom, always in the right spot, and his catches are stats are always more valuable in game, than on paper. That said even if he comes back he will never have a better year for the team
than this year. He just paid back being overpaid his first few years here. As far as I'm concerned things are even, hopefully he comes back on a team friendly deal.

Bears are expected to cut Mike Glennon. He is a QB BB has spoken highly about in the past.
