I know he wants to play and play now so retaining him was impossible.

But to think the guy who just signed the most lucrative deal in league history is only worth a 2nd round pick is pure foolishness.

Teams paying stupid money for players has nothing to do with what he was worth draft pick wise. Its not as though niners said hey we will give you two firsts and Bill said, nah, just give us a second. Your worth is what they can get.

And establishing that worth is by calling 1 team, asking what they’ll give, and consummating a deal in 10 minutes?

We just have to make it to May guys and draft THE next guy and we can say good-bye to Jimmy. Nothing like a new girlfriend/boyfriend to make you forget about the old one ... lol.

give up, the "BB can do no wrong crowd" will never listen. For reason/s only BB and/or Kraft know, BB decided moving JG quickly was more important than getting max trade value.

i hate everything about this trade, the value, the timing, the lack of market development, the haste in which it was done... there is nothing in this trade that make sense from a doing whats best for the T.E.A.M. perspective.

i saw no evidence that the Pats were worse off in the SB with Butler sitting rather than playing.

Butler was horrible for most of the season, he was absolutely torched by tenn, was playing the wrong d at times during the Jax game (playing man during zone d) and was by some accounts lost in practice the week leading up to the SB. For whatever reason MB just lost it this year he was not the DB we all thought he was going into the season. Knowing your assignment is critical against an O as well coached as Philly. i think BB just simply lost faith MB could DO His Job. this is echoed in MB's own words right after the game "patriots gave up on me"

And here we part.

NOBODY will ever convince me Bademosi and Richards and Chung on WRs was a better option than Malcolm.

Even if anybody thought it was, after getting LIT in the 1st half you come to your senses and try something else that’s available to you.

I'm in a bind here.

I actually think the Butler move in the SB seemed stubborn and stupid, but I'm not fired up about the Garappolo trade.
