It would be hilarious if he did that to Colts later down the road again...that would be amazing!

With teams it shouldn’t matter but if a couple coaches got F’d then others may remember.

Colts won't make the same mistake twice with that twit. I don't know how you Pat fans can be proud of McDaniels reneging on his word. You find it hilarious that a man doesn't keep his word, pathetic. That's ok though, the Colts are better off with Frank Reich anyway. Much better choice in my opinion.

Oh yeah, they'll remember. McDouche is screwed outside of NE.

Lol.

No he isn’t.

Wins just gonna keep coming.

He’ll be HC here. And after?

Who cares?

I am not sure why it is so hard to understand that McD got a better offer and took it from the franchise that he has worked for the longest and has had the most success with a pathway to eventually becoming HC. This happens ALL the time in the business world and sports world. You get an offer and your current employer tops it. Of course the timing was terrible for the Colts but that is hardly McD's fault. Kraft came in and wooed him. That is just smart business.

In terms of Reich, I guess time will tell but Ballard did not have him on his original list of candidates and he did not want him after McD dropped out. I don't see that as a good sign as I would not trust the pill popper to make a good choice given the last time he did you got Grigson/Pagano.

Why would we care if he is screwed outside of NE?

Anyone that puts the screws to the colts makes NE fans proud, and it is hilarious, why wouldn't it be? Do we really need to explain that to you? BTW
the colts aren't exactly the model franchise of decency and ethics.

This^^^^

Laughable that a Colt fan would call out anyone for doing something underhanded.

Be butthurt but don't bring that shit into our house and be all high and mighty.

5 yrs from now....

“So Josh, it seems you had a deal in place to be HC of IC. What happened?”

“We had agreed on financial and term. I still hadn’t signed. After we finished our last game of the season, another SB, the owner of the model franchise in the midst of the most unprecedented run in the history of our league sat me down and met my financial needs to stay with the greatest HC of all time and continue working with the greatest QB of all time.”

“Wanna start Monday?”

Only because of hindsight. He clearly wanted McDaniels more than Reich. Hell, rumor is that Irsay wanted Reich, not Ballard.

The father of your pill popping, loser of an owner loaded Mayflower trucks in the middle of the night and left the city of Baltimore hanging.

Why? Because he got a better offer from Indianapolis.

Now STFU. The last thing anyone on the planet wants to read is hypocritical BS from fans who are just here to troll.

I agree. And I was one that was happy that McDaniels was coming to the Colts. I thought he got a bad rap in Denver and deserved another chance. He is an incredible offensive coordinator. I am not questioning his abilities at all.

Stop being lazy and read why the Colts left Baltimore. In a nutshell, here is why the Colts left Baltimore.

1. The Colts wanted a new stadium because Baltimore's was literally crumbling and falling down and Baltimore wouldn't build a new one.
2. Attendance at the Colts games in Baltimore was very low.
3. The mayor of Baltimore tried stealing the Colts away from the Irsays without even paying for the team by claiming the team was eminent domain. This was why the Colts left in the middle of the night by Mayflower moving trucks. If they hadn't, Irsay risked losing the team without even getting paid for it.
4. Indianapolis already had built the Hoosier Dome (later renamed the RCA dome) to accomodate an NFL expansion team.

So in essence, Baltimore literally forced the Colts to leave the city by their own actions. What did they think their owner was going to do when they tried to steal the team away?
