Will you be surprised if...
...the Pats crush the 49ers like the fist of an angry god this Sunday?
I won't. The 49ers don't impress me. Personally, I think Seattle is the best team in that division, and I think the NFC championship game may well come down to them and the Packers...assuming playoff matchups favor it. |

I don't anticipate a blowout like Monday, but I am confident the Pats will be on cruise control at some point early in the 4th quarter.

I will not be surprised. The Pats playing a bad game against a bad opponent would surprise me more than crushing a good opponent.

I wouldn't be totally shocked if the Pats lost a close one. The Pats D is going to need to play even better than they did against HOU to enable a Pats' win.
IMHO, SF has a better OL than Houston. Gore seems a craftier RB than Foster. Kaepernick has more legit passing targets. LB coverage will likely be challenged early and often. I think the Niners can be much more successful at keeping the chains moving than HOU was. The SF defense is not without flaw, but a bit healthier, deeper and more adaptable than the HOU defense. I'm not at all confident that the Pats' offense gets to 24 points, much less 30. A 23-20 win for either team feels about right. |

I am confused though. Who said the Pats had an easy schedule? Seems like ours is much tougher than several others being ranked highly. |
