Ted Ginn destroying chemistry with holdout

All the Dolphin players are pissed off and they have privately said that he isn't worth 1/10 of what he's asking for. Unnamed sources say that Ginn may get blackballed by the veterans and rookies alike for his selfish, immature, unprofessional and greedy behavior.....said one unnamed source...."We should have taken Brady Quinn in the 1st and signed Ginn as an undrafted free agent. Trent can only last so long...6 games maybe, less if he gets hit a couple times".

GINN WATCH CONTINUES: First-round pick Ted Ginn Jr. remains the only rookie not yet signed to a contract and was not present Tuesday. Green said the sooner Ginn joins the team the better as far as being on the same page when it comes to the playbook

HA! Green throwing Ginn under the bus....priceless!

Instead of holding out, Ted Ginn Jr. should be just thanking his lucky stars that he was drafted that high.

Exactly. There's no way the Dolphins should have drafted him that high. Don't be a dumbass Ginn. Your new teammates are already dissapointed that the team picked you. Don't give them more of a reason to not like you. Get to camp, and start trying to earn their respect.

Then there's Brady Quinn, who supposedly grew up liking the Browns, and he's holding out and wants to get paid like a top 5 pick.

And I thought he was the best QB in the draft?

OAK-Clev-T-Bay-Wash Minn all passed on Brady Quinn & would have been a future upgrade at worst...we drafted the 2nd available WR in the draft

John Beck - QB
The MWC Offensive Player of the Year, Beck ranked second in the nation with a 169.1 passer-efficiency rating. He only completed 147 of 289 passes (69.3 percent), but surpassed his previous season total of 3,709 yards with 3,885 on 41 fewer pass completions. He had 32 touchdowns with only eight interceptions and ran for six scores. His average of 323.1 yards per game ranked fourth nationally, and his 169.1 efficiency rating ranked second.

In 43 games at Brigham Young, Beck started 38 times. He gained 11,021 yards on 885 of 1,418 passes (62.4 percent) with 79 touchdowns and 34 interceptions. Beck rushed 267 times for 38 yards (0.1-yard average) and nine scores. He recorded two tackles and had a three-yard reception. On 1,685 plays, he gained 11,059 yards in total offense, an average of 257.2 yards per game

I just don't recall John Beck at all. How strong was BYU's schedule?

Are you just a f-ing half-wit? I asked you a legitimate question about John Beck, and you start talking about Meriweather.

I was actually giving you the benefit of the doubt and trying to hold a somewhat intelligent conversation with you. What an F-ing waste of time you are.

you asked sarcastically as this stupid thread is...with your laughing guy & questions as if you never heard of Brady Quinn... and mocking the Dolphins 1st rd pick

don't you all think you should be worrying about how great your 1st rd pick is & hope he signs before the season & doesn't have reacuring shoulder injuries & ankle spains etc...

as far insulting the intelligenes & value at position...merriwaether is the 4th available S & like the 8th best defensive back in the draft...the Patriots # 1 Ace is Hobbs right now....how funny is that

I for sure as everyone was extremely disappointed when i heard the pick even though we need a slot WR & kick returner & he was the next best available & predicted to go between 15 -25

And when they took Beck in the 2nd round It made more sence... I still as you all would have like the popular pick, but they didn't like as more than a few NFL teams agree Brady didn't perform in big games, they saw something in Brock ...we'll all see...and we still had Cullpepper - 5 time probowler on out roster & plans woth Greene...

And the dolphins 2 months previous in an interview mentioned they might draft a late rd QB & had there eye on a few...so why don't you guys focus more on weather meriweather's punk ass can replace Harrison come week #5

You dumb F! I was being sarcastic about Brady Quinn because he claimed to be the best QB in draft!

You are really f-ed, you know it? Did you live under power lines as a kid?

This sounds like a legitimate question...my view is as I posted his QB numbers is his 32T-D to 8-InT % is great and His average of 323.1 yards per game ranked fourth nationally, and his 169.1 efficiency rating ranked second. Is good no matter what his schedule strength was...

As far as passing...even the top 10 colleges are weak in their secondary's & all QB's need to step up in the Pro's...the Draft...it's really a crap shoot as far as Im concerned..

D I agree taking Beck in round two was smarter than taking the idiot Notre Dame QB but if you reach for Ginn, I would have reached for his team mate Anthony Gonzalez

It was a legit question. I honestly hadn't heard of the guy.

D22, this is how you have a conversation with someone.
