Ann-Margret was so good looking it was painful. Like staring into the sun.

I was more wanting the plane.

(His first one - the Cessna T50 - still beautiful today even though production began in the late '40s)

Which might have blinded some to her incredible talents. Excellent actor. Excellent Singer. Great Vegas Act. And stunning. And a dutiful loving wife. Roger Smith has suffered for years with Myasthenia Gravis and at one point was said to be near death, Roger and Ann Margret were married in May of 67. He passed this june, just a Month past their Golden anniversary.

Cheers

No more than mine. She was my first crush too. Later, I found out we were born on the same day. (And no, it's not strange for little girls to have crushes on girls . . Just ask all the little girls who were in love with Britney Spears )

Cheryl Tiegs - perhaps the person most responsible for spurring on the success of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.

And kudos to Pats44 for a great thread topic.

This is a great thread. I had some pretty wild sexual fantasies at a very young age so it's hard to remember any specific crush although I can remember being in 2nd grade and thinking I would marry someone sensible like Lois Lane on the Superman TV show.

I remember an episode of Route 66 that featured this incredibly attractive blonde who might have been Tammy Grimes (based on reading about episodes on IMDB). Interesting that she was from Lynn.

The first celebrity crush I was aware of by name would probably be Katherine Ross in the Graduate.

I absolutely had a crush on her but she wasn't my first crush. Too bad she enjoyed the stage and TV more than movies.

Interestingly she's been married to Sam Elliot since '84 after 4 failed marriages. They made a movie together released this year, "The Hero".
