In all honesty because I screwed up again. Speaking frankly, it's a difficult time for me lately. I used to bright. Now I have difficulty remembering things. Sometimes walking around the house I forget where I am going or what I was going to do. I sometimes forget whether I have done something or not. Like did I click on submit? I imagine it will only get worse, but hopefully fairly slowly. I am trying to treat it somewhat the way my dad taught me woodworking - "measure twice, cut once'. Clearly it isn't working exactly perfectly.

I worry about whether these "lapses" (which seem to be occurring more frequently) relate in any way to the little brain tumor thingy I was talking about recently or whether I'm on the fast track for oldtimers. Most likely, all my docs tell it's just the normal slow down in the firing of synapses and nothing to particularly worry about. I recently applied for a position directing a commercial SAT/ACT Prep course facility and they made me take the SAT's as part of the application process. I stunned myself with an 800, 740, 680 and for a bit was able to feel a little better about my brain function. It's now getting quite frightening and unbelievably annoying. I get so mad at myself.

If a get the sense that I'm becoming unbearable I'll hopefully have the sense to deal myself out.

Until then, I'll use my nevermind to say "there he goes again." Or you guys will, as you have been, assist me by pointing out my nevermind moments.
