WIlfork earned this, and not just on the field. This negotiation was a testament to his professionalism. There are a number of guys who could learn a lot from him and his agent.

Wholeheartedly agree with your remark, which is the main reason I am so delighted that they finally gave the guy a great contract. He manned up the entire time - starting from last preseason when he showed up for EVERYTHING voluntarily, even though didn't have to - stating that he had a contract and had every intention of playing through and honoring it.

Then he flat out played his large heine off all season long - apparently totally ignoring the "contract negotiations" embroglio - and the Patriots did right by him in the end. Gotta love such a happy ending.

I am very happy with this on so many levels. Vince has been great on the field and off of the field. He is the character that we all like here and he will continue to ruin the bad reputation set by so many other U grads...lol.

Amazing how he was instantly forgiven for his 3 Stooges eye gouge routine. We haven't forgotten the rumbling stumblin bumblin with that amazing INT tho!! What a great visual: lard on legs.

Tiny Warren is also signed for another 3 years or so. Looking forward to that combo for years to come. (ps - i think i remember reading that the raiders franchised Seymour - the missing 3rd leg - but I don't miss it. )
