Vollmer missed two games with a concussion - he came back, platooning with Light and Kaczur until Kaczur was injured. Vollmer finished that game and has started in Kaczur's place the past two games. He's not been on the injury report.

Patriots Injury Report
Limited Participation
QB Tom Brady (right shoulder/right finger/rib)
DE Ty Warren (ankle)
DL Vince Wilfork (foot)
WR Wes Welker (not injury related)
DE Jarvis Green (knee)

Full Participation
WR Julian Edelman (forearm)
T Nick Kaczur (shoulder)
TE Benjamin Watson (knee)
CB Shawn Springs (knee)

-- Green has been playing well, and with Adams being released, there is little likelihood he will be rested.
-- Brady, Wilfork, and Warren I addressed earlier.
-- Kaczur has been out for two games, his ankles are no longer listed, but shoulders are tricky for OL and it makes more sense (to me) to rest him another game before the playoffs.
-- Edelman needs to play with Brady.
-- Watson needs to play with Brady.
-- Resting Springs, the old man, may be a possibility.
-- Welker has been drained by the -mm psychic vampires of Patriots Planet, he just needs bananas, vitamin water, and a tin foil jock strap.

Does anyone know Houston's chance of ending up in Foxboro again a week from now if they win Sunday?

yes i went and checked too, if Vollmer is 100% that is great and there are times when backing off is more dangerous than pushing on.

rady kept things light when he was asked about the comments by Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley that the Patriots and Benglas would "lay down" for their virtually meaningless games Sunday because they don't want the Super Bowl champion Steelers to make the playoffs.

Asked if he had a response, Brady said he didn't, before playing on the connection between the two -- their Michigan ties.

"A Michigan guy, that surprises me. Usually we keep our mouths shut. I guess not. I'm going to give [former] Coach [Lloyd] Carr a call and straighten him out."

according to HERE Houston would (have ta)

Quote:
HOUSTON TEXANS (8-7)

If The Playoffs Started Today: Out

Remaining Schedule (Projected Results): vs. New England (L)

Final Projected Record; Playoff Seeding: 8-8; out

Extra Point: There are two things we're pretty certain about this weekend: 1) The Jets won't lose to the 50 percent Bengals; and 2) The Broncos won't lose at home to the Chiefs. Unfortunately, the Texans need both of those things to be wrong (or one of those things to be wrong and have the Ravens lose), in addition to beating the Patriots. Translation: Texans need a miracle.
extra bonus info

Quote:
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (10-5)

If The Playoffs Started Today: In; No. 3 seed (wins tiebreaker with Cincinnati based on strength of victory)

Remaining Schedule (Projected Results): at Houston (W)

Final Projected Record; Playoff Seeding: 11-5; No. 3 (wins tiebreaker with Cincinnati based on strength of victory)

Extra Point: The Patriots are playing for the No. 3 seed. Win, and they get it. Lose, and they risk losing it to the Bengals on Sunday night. On the chance they lose to the Texans and draw them again in the wild-card round, we project Bill Belichick playing his starters but with a very vanilla game plan so as not to give the Texans anything to record (sic) awaytoo much.

Not to mention that the season hasn't even played out yet. Let's wait until the last whistle until making the final judgment.
