Plus, let's not forget Luck's PR presser last week that was staged to show how well his rehab was going completely backfired. Luck was hesitant about his shoulder throughout the presser using words like "I feel like another surgery won't be necessary" and "I plan to be out there barring a setback". Too many back door modifiers and not enough guarantees from Luck - hardly what Josh should be looking for.
Josh knows Brissett well enough to know that he's not willing to risk his reputation by going to war with Brissett should Luck's balky shoulder fail him again.
That could change if the Colts plan is to draft a QB in the first round but, as it is, the Colts job offers too much fluff and not enough substance.
