That even though it's plainly obvious that rules were broken, crimes committed, and punishment deserved that we would see nothing of the sort. No one is held accountable anymore. Certainly no one of substance or high standing. Like someone else said, Ds and Rs are in this game together. They know massaging a favor for one side now, gets them a handy later. This sad reality hit me a long time ago when that congressman William Jefferson was raided by the feds and had $80k in cash in his freezer. I saw R & D lawmakers hand in hand denouncing the raid and defending each others back against it. These 2 parties couldn't stand together to work on an issue of importance, but raid them and expose their corruption and suddenly they're bosom buddies. It was eye opening. It told me all I needed to know.

Again, my hope is that "if" crimes were committed and laws were broken that the guilty are held to the fullest extent of the law. You can't use the intelligence community, weaponize it if you will, to spy on an opponents presidential campaign. (I stress if) If that is indeed what happened them examples need to be made of all involved.
Lerner and Clinton are great examples. In each case evidence was blatantly destroyed. Lerners hard drives could not be found and ol HRC was smashing phones and bleach bitting stored data. We will see if similar actions emerge with the current batch of crooks.
