Not even this, though. What if it was totally better in every way? Wouldn't the league want that? They do everything else to increase scoring. It's not like there is some team out there that is unable to also inflate their balls to any pressure they desire. I don't see what competitive imbalance this rule even addresses.

F**k the NFL. I'm pissed off at the league big time for the way they have allowed this to fester and the weak assed statement they released yesterday. They could have revealed a lot more days ago as Tom Curran said.

It's clear Goodell is looking for an angle here, a chance to punch the Patriots and show he really is the enforcer.

Well f**k you Roger, not only were you and your pathetic investigation schooled by Bill, but he even brought up Spygate and shoved that down your throat as well you mealy mouthed ginger f**k.

True. It isn't like all the QBs have the same sized hands, either. I think the rule is dumb, as well as arcane, and have said so elsewhere.

I'm sure its obscurity is why Harbaugh chose it in his attempt to discredit NE.

Shouldn't the title to this forum be Patriots Planet MEGA DEFIANT Football Forum?

The best part is, it doesn't even matter if Mona Lisa Bill doesn't even science. Even if he was dead wrong in his "study", he sent a HUGE message to the NFL. And the Jets, natch :coffee:

In front of the world, Our Bill just told them - not only can I "Do My Job", I can "Do Your Job" for you too, you useless sacks of crap. Come and get me if you think you can. I TRIPLE DOG DARE YOU. In the meantime, me and my guys are busy going on to Seattle, so G.F.Y.

Thanks Bill, you stood up for us fans today, too, and we are eternally grateful. :toast: wuv

Multiple threads on this topic, but saw this gem floating around. ESPN SportsCenter interviews some scientist who ends up agreeing with Belichick's experiment here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u65P...ature=youtu.be

An anecdote from NY. My sister lives in NYC, surrounded by Jets fans. Was at party and reports every single Jets fan there thinks the issue is BS and NFL is insane.

Yes, and ESPN pulled the interview from their website... obviously doesn't support their agenda.
