Three bathrooms is a waste of space, IMO, unless we start inviting random people over for coffee and laxatives.

Pre fabricated homes
Once the foundation is poured your sleeping in your bed in about a month.

One word of advice......... actually two

DO NOT be in a hurry, especially if your looking at staying there 10 years or so.
Took us TWO YEARS to figure out what we wanted to to (all the while having people say blah blah blah dont be so picky)
Those same people tell us quite often that we were smart to be patient and get what we really wanted.

Dont let another 15 minutes of commuting time make your decision, after that 15 minutes are up at least you're living where you want to live.

3 bathrooms is tree men does. Trust me, your wife needs one of her own. Sharing a bathroom with boys is not fun.:shake:

FT and I can't even agree on a state to live in, never mind a house. Sorry, wrong thread.:(;)

you want two story house then you need 1 bath on the main floor and one on the second. the question is does she want a master bath and if so I think a masterbath is a woman's dream leaving the second bathroom for the child when he grows and yourself to stink up and aim at cheerios

oh and one other thing.....give more than take on the house...you can adapt while a woman, and I will be killed for this, will remind you of the decision you made and the other house you could have had repeatedly

Three bathrooms is full of EPIC FAIL

More places for dirty laundry making laundry day that much harder

Oh, and because the house is the size of a castle with three bedrooms SOMEONE has to clean it.

Seeing how he works from home , it is he who will be dusting his broom on the hardwood floors and swirling the brush around the ole bowl

Anderson, two bathrooms!

^^This. is a man tempered by years of marital bliss. His words have iron in them.

Just make sure to set aside one room that will be off limits in terms of decorating/spousifying. prolly basement. Thats where the magic happens.

A guy who brews his own beer should understand the importance of having a bathroom that you can pearl harbor on a regular basis without upsetting the wife.

mikiemo83 08-18-2010 08:38 AM

all this said I have 3 bathrooms.....full in the basement, small full on the main floor and a large one with laundry on the second floor that is a shower only but no cable like I intended to install

the main floor I should have put in a 1/2 bath but at the time I thought the kids would need a place to take a bath as the upstairs is a shower unit only....kids stopped bathing at age 4 and 5 so the bathtub goes without use for months at a time unless it is being cleaned

COMPLETELY different set of circumstances

anderson 08-18-2010 10:03 AM

Two bathrooms is enough for me.

If it were up to me, neither would have a tub either. Just two awesome shower rooms.

As for the house picking, we have decided to move into something new around February. We started looking around about two months ago and still haven't found anything we can agree on. Well there was one house, but it was $840k and not really realistic (plus we don't really need 4k sqft of space).

Cajun-bake Turtle Burgers"

Here's a new twist on how to serve burgers and if you don't cook, give this handy little guide to someone that does.

Handmade ground beef patties, topped with sharp cheddar cheese, wrapped in a bacon weave, then the next step, add hotdogs as the heads, legs with slits for toes and tail.

Next step.
Place on an oven rack, covered loosely with foil and baked for 20-30 minutes at 400 degrees. A little crispy, not too crunchy...just how a turtle should be,no?
