I was reading this thread in the Jets insider forum http://www.jetsinsider.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=223375 (the Alosi thing)

and what appears to be a Steelers fan makes this statement

Quote:

i tend to agree the media seems to be making a bigger deal out of this than should be. i dont believe they made this big of a deal on spygate. however, everyone knows espn tries to make everything bigger than what it should be.

the guy did it, got his punishment, so move on to something else.

Yeah but you did a good thing :thumb:

Coltsfan2theend 12-16-2010 04:18 PM

Found out today, a former co worker died yesterday at my former job. He was in his 80's and have had 13 heart attacks, so he is in a better place now. He always said if he wasn't working, he would die. He worked part time at the grocery store I worked at bagging groceries. He used to own a service station for years before he sold it to retire, only to go to part time work.

not working is one of the things that did my dad in, he aged fast once he stopped having a place to be every day

Coltsfan2theend 12-16-2010 05:24 PM

I went to visit Bob about a month ago (been meaning to stop, but always on my way into work when I passed his house with no time to stop) and the one time I did, he was a sleep the whole time.

Good luck.

Mention that you spend a good deal of time posting to internet message boards during the day. This is a sure way to win them over.

Bought a Christmas present today, bought this photo for my friends parents. Still have to get something for my friend and his sister (his family always gets me something nice).

I got them a print of a light house my friend took. They travel to east coast every year to either Boston or Maine (his dad is from Boston).

This is the print I bought.

Crossed the desert's bare, man.

there is your issue...you run through Christmas while I take a nice stroll through the holiday spreading a calming feeling like a mug of Warm cocoa with marshmellows after a day Ice Skating, Sledding, making snow men, building snow forts out of Christmas snow and possibly holding hands....

I would like to extend a huge f*ck you to all the people at the poker tables tonight that robbed me of my money. Ugh. Losing $3k in December sucks.

At 7 PM tonight, I could barely keep my eyes open. Now because of this nail-biter, I can't even think about going to bed - totally wired.

sprocketboy 12-20-2010 12:49 AM

After tonight's game, I took my dog for a walk down to the park down the street.

There were a bunch of high-school-aged boys playing a pickup game of basketball.

Shirts vs. Skins. Outside. At 10:30 PM on a Sunday night, about a week before Christmas.

It's the Holiday Season in the Desert, boys and girls.

I have to do 7 days worth of commercials in 4 days.....Then repeat next week for New Years. Nice thing is that the next two Fridays will be easy work.

Also for my random note....gas hit 3.09 today, if it stays this high and gets above 3.50 for more then a month, the Jeep will go up for sale. I might regret it later, but I don't know if I would be able to drive to work.

tommysgirl 12-20-2010 12:48 PM

The National Climactic Data Center says that Louisiana has received almost 40 inches of rain so far this year, and that is 'much below normal' rainfall for that state.

No wonder that state is so swampy. Well, that, and the fact that the Mississippi River Delta is there.

I've got a random thought.

It seems like every time I gas my car up the counter slows down earlier and earlier. First, it was the last 10 cents worth, then 20. Lately it's close to 50. So, the wind chill is killing me and I stand there like a dope and watch it get slower......and slower.....and slower. All stations do this like there is an eye in the sky ensuring my annoyance at an increasing rate.

Where does this stop? How slow does it have to go before the gas companies can ensure that I don't unleash an enviornmental disaster on the planet by leaking a drop of gas on the ground?

The world is getting dummed down too much. I just want to release the hounds and get on my way. I won't spill any. I promise.

Overall I have very little to complain about. I have a good life, a good job, a wife and kids I can't wait to get home to everyday... But today was seemingly the most stress-free day I've had in some time across the board. It feels good to have not taken it for granted. And there are still 52 minutes of it to enjoy.

I am barely on twitter, but the other day, one of the groups I follow on there (DroidLanding) gives away Droid X's for creative tweets. They also give out other lesser prizes I just found out because I won a 50 dollar Verizon Wireless gift card for my tweet "I want a Droid X because Chuck Norris fears it". Even though it wasn't original, I guess they liked it. Now my refurbished Droid X will only cost me 50 dollars.

If Chuck Norris karate chopped a Droid, it would split into two perfectly functioning iPhones.

My co-worker friend bought me a Pats calendar for my birthday. One month is Maroney and one is Moss. ROFL

I saw those calendars! I was gonna get it until I looked at the pictures lol You can probably print out a picture of your choice big enough to tape over those? :)

Does a perfectly functioning iPhone exist on A T and T network? My friends who have the iPhone have problems all the time. When the iPhone comes out on Verizon, expect to see A T and T to lose customers by a lot. I was going to wait for the iPhone, but decided to get the X and one of the new iPod touches with cameras instead. Honestly, Droid phones have more apps that are free it seems.

Just fyi, the ipod camera isn't nearly as good as the camera in the iphone 4 (which is outstanding).

I personally won't use the iPod camera as a main camera. I got a Nikon d70S and a Pasasonic Lumix 10 mp camera for that. Also, the Droid X has an 8 mp camera built in that shoots HD video. Mainly, the iPod camera would be extreme emergency or Facetime camera....
