Hightower

he was hurt last night and left the game any word on how he is or what happened?

I'm not too concerned, because he was back out on he bench and wasn't in the locker room for the rest of the game.

They were up 23-0, and Hightower has chronically bad shoulders, so I think it was more maintenance than anything else.

Next of kin were notified. Serviced will be on Wednesday.

They showed him smiling on the bench after being taken out. I wouldn't worry it.

And that's from a professional worrier.

There's a certification for that?

I want to make this perfectly clear, I have no idea if this is real or what. I'm just posting what I saw on Twitter. The tweet was deleted and there's no mention of Hightower on this guy's timeline other than him retweeting another guy reporting on Hightower being questionable to return.

I hope this is either an error or some asshole pulling a sick prank.

If HT had any sort of injury that was serious, we would have heard about it by now from Reiss or some other beat guy.

He also wouldn't have been on the bench still in full pads.

Has he honestly made that much of a difference? Hell, they played better without Gilmore and Rowe, maybe they'll play better without Hightower.

What do you think of Harris' play when HT subbed out? I thought he looked pretty good. As long as he is just stuffing the run and not asked to cover, he can be decent I think.

He looked like David Harris to me.

Maybe his snaps are being managed. I get the sense there's a lot of that going on this year.

he is a huge difference, the reason they played better without Gilmore was in great part to Hightower back out there running the green dot info position.

Hightower could have made the difference but I thought going dime (an extra CB instead of a S) instead of big nickel was a more effective change. With both Jones and Bademosi out there the defensive backfield really clicked.

Playing a college style offense is probably what helped the most. :coffee:

Same playbook that Kyle Shanahan had. Only the playcalling was different.
Julio, Sanu and the rest had to be covered regardless.
