I heard that comcast has the NFL network channel but I can't seem to find it. I did find some sorta NLF channel but it says I have to subscribe to it. I thought the NFL channel was free for digital subscribers, which I am :shrug:

anyone else had digital comcast cable and the NFL channel? if you do, is there something I need to do to turn it on and what channel is it?????

It is channel 265 on my cable system and it is free to those that already have, or add, what is known as the deluxe gold package (I think).

I you have no pay channels like HBO now, then I would guess that you are going to have to pony up for an upgrade.

It is a great feature to have and I watch it all the time. I never saw it up until a few weeks ago and having the "On Demand" access to replays and special features is outstanding.

This channel is definitely worth paying for.

I have digital cable (from Comcast) and I get the Sopranos, so I think I have the "bronze" package, but apparently I need the "silver" package to get the NFL stuff. When I called them about this, asking where my NFL network was, the guy seemed to indicate that it would actually cost less to get more stuff, but I didn't believe him.

hmmmm, I do have all the HBOs and thought I had the highest package level. I guess it's time to call the cable company.

: Not that this helps you any but....... I have Blue Ridge digital cable and for us I do know you have to at least have the "extended basic service which is cheaper than the old basic cable.
I do however agree with hawg that the NFL network is definitely worth having! The On Demand feature gives you the ability to replay the highlights of every game that was played each particular week. :thumb
