View Full Version : Will we see a return of the "roving defense" today?... :)

... Remember that, a couple of years ago, when we played Buffalo in Buffalo?
I wouldn't be surprised to see some new tricks thrown out there today (from both sides); especially EARLY in the game, in the hopes of jumping out to a quick lead and the ability to set the tone for the game...
So, what say ye?... I'd be particularly interested in hearing what Wyo has to say on the subject, especially given that most of the Buffalo fans posting here seem to be into just yammering about inane stuff...
May the best TEAM win today and may no one sustain any injuries...
BTW--is the weather in Buffalo as glorious as it is here in NE? Crikey--today was MADE for playing football! :thumb:

Nice call, Peg. I did see that "everyone walking around" formation at least once yesterday.

Anything to confuse Drew. Can't wait till the Bills come to Gillette and drew has to face the "68000 ringing alarm clocks" defense!

Thanks, Guy! Frankly, I'd kind of like to see them do a little more of this, but BB is more about coming up with something new and different all of the time, I suppose... And hey--THAT seems to be workin', so why not?!... :thumb:
"68,000 ringing alarm clocks"?!... Hmmm... thinking, thinking, thinking... Can you just see it now?! They are handing out alarm clocks to ticket holders, entering Gillette Stadium on November 14th, which is being televised on ESPN!!!... :D
BTW--When I saw your new signature about Jamal Lewis, it reminded me of something that I heard on one of the post-game shows. Something to the effect of Jamal Lewis agreeing to a plea agreement with the Feds, that would call for him doing a few months time in a penitentiary, but that would be in the off-season. However, it is commonly believed that if he does, indeed, agree to this plea agreement, then the NFL would take some action that would result in a several game suspension, that would take place THIS season...
The point of this being--I wonder if that suspension would be taking place when WE play the Ravens on November 28th... One can always hope, eh?!... :D
