Must be a player on an active roster or recent draft pick in the case of the Patriots
IE you cant pick Adailus Thomas or Manny Ramirez

Red Sox
Pedroia laser show comment ROFL ..........oh, he produces too.

Celtics
Sheed, because he causes Internetz in-fighting

Patriots
Gronkowski, I think he is half nuts in a good way

Patriots: Welker

Yeah, I know, he's probably not going to be on the active roster. He is still my favorite on this team.

Red Sox: Bard

I was at the game on Wednesday, and everybody in my section was amazed when the scoreboard flashed this: Change-up 91 MPH. Neither starter that night had a fastball that broke 90.

Bruins

Don't care about professional hockey

Celtics

Professional basketball sucks donkey balls

Sox - Pedrioa - there is little about this team to like but he is fun

Pats - Light - I want to drink beers with him and the oline

Celtics - much like teh Sox not much to like individually so I guess it has to be Ray Allen

Bruins - Thorton - he isn't really a tough guy but knows his role and shuts his mouth and is the Bruins Elbow if you smell what mikiemo is cooking

That picture of Chara nekkid is disconcerting.

Sox - Pedroia; love everything about him and his game (close second: Beckett)

Bruins - Sadly, Krejci; a poor man's Gretzky with his patience and puck control (close second: Bergeron)

Patriots - Tom; my favorite Boston athlete of all time (second: Welker)

Celts - Rasheed Wallace (second: Perk)

Dwight Schrute

Sox: Beckett - love his F the world atitude. Thogh production of late could stand a kick in the A$$!

Celtics: Allen- quiet professional.

Patriots: TFB. I know, predictable.

Bruins: Krejci. Love his game. So sad he's lost now. Particularly if things go as planned and he's not around.

Patriots: Kevin Faulk, he gets it.

Bruins: Bergeron, fragile but very talented.

I was just trying to bring a little levity to the party. I so much want to be loved and respected!

For serious, it's Paul Pierce, all day long. The guy is a warrior. And a champion. And was the Cs best player for Number 17. And made the LA Rapist look inferior in that series. Yup, give me Paul Pierce.

Second: Rondo. Rondo is the best player on the team now, and he's the most unique point guard I've seen in a long time. He has the complete game -- except the outside shot -- and even that has improved a lot.

Funny, I'm not at all a Doc lover. I just think that hatred of a coach who played a significant role in a Celtics championship and who has the respect of his veteran team is somewhat craven. In my view, Doc is a good, but not great, head coach, and is prone to making some big mistakes.

Fragile?

Besides the concussion (which could happen to anyone) is there something I am missing?

I feel bad for PP, he just doesn't seem to get the love he deserves nationally but more so locally - something about him seems to bother people.

maybe it was the off-court mistakes earlier in his career, the Flopping, the walking wounded headband or the poor me face he has but he deserves love from the fans. I think for many he will always be the guy that needed help from KG to win not the one who helped KG

Besides the concussion (which could happen to anyone) is there something I am missing?Seems to me that in past years he would miss a couple of games with lower leg injuries that would not affect a more heavily built player as much. I just see him as akin to a wide receiver who is not afraid to mix it up and sometimes pays for it.

I think it is Felger that tells the story of PP in LA (Game 3 maybe?) and one NBA Exec turned to him and said he knew PP was good but had no idea he was THIS good.

He has never been flashy so he never got the national attention others did on crappy teams (like KG). I will forever believe that KG and Ray needed PP more than he needed them.

Thats heavily built isnt it?

Couple games here and there isnt what I would call fragile, not everyone can be Doug Jarvis

With arguably the worst players to ever don green--some, arguably the worst players in NBA history. It's tough to draw the line somewhere but we can very much point to teams that KG and Allen played on that had much more talent and they never advanced far in the playoffs (to my scattered memory). When the three united, PP was battle tested in that he had been through NBA hell and back. That kind of thing builds a player's psyche and true toughness IMO (Watch out world, Durant will surpass Kobe and Lebron as the best player in the league when he moves to a solid roster--Yeah, I said it).

Let's not forget whose team this really is now.

His nickname, The Truth, was accorded him by Shaquille O'Neal. After a Lakers' victory over the Celtics in 2001, O'Neal pulled a Boston reporter over and gestured toward his notepad. "Take this down", said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth

I think if Kevin made the same deals bringing Ray and Paul to Minny KG would still have been the reason in many eyes, he is the 7 footer - but the three needed each other because only 2 would not have done it

When they weren't here he piloted the ship to the worst record in the league.

Not the stuff of legends....yeah but ML Carr had tank it orders

he also took A.Walker to the conference finals

Celtics- gotta go Pierce. Never been happier to see a guy win a ring.

Pats- toss up between Faulk and Welker

Sox- love Pedey, but Ellsbury brings such a disruptive element to the game. The guy scored from 2nd base on a wild pitch as a rookie!

The only guy I had any real love for that wasn't a Bruin was Peca. I remember a playoff series against the B's, somewhere in the 90s where he was just everywhere. The B's couldn't do anything when he was on the ice. That's how I remember it anyway

Bruins
Mark Recchi- A consummate pro and as a player just knows how to get it done at crunch time. Besides, you have to love those short, fat guys who can't skate or shoot all that well, but who have Hall of Fame credentials.

Patriots
Wes Welker- The little engine that could.

Celtics
Ray Allen- I've always loved the pure shooters in basketball, seems like a good guy, too.

Red Sox
Dustin Pedroia- See: Wes Welker

Pats - Welker much wuv for him for many reasons
Sox - Pedroia puts alot of heart into his play and he is pretty damn good :)
Celtics - Rondo has my favorite number and is doing REALLY well right now for the Celts. Although I still liked him when he wasn't doing as well
Bruins - Tuuka just frigin amazing at goalie.

I had to go back n forth betweem putting down Tuukka or Satan. But then my list just starting growing more and more so I decided to go with Tuuk.
