I shit you not...we actually played marbles like we were in the 1950's or something.

It was pretty cool.

I was the marbles champion of my gradeschool. Nobody touched my skills in 3 counties. It got so nobody would play me because they didn't want to lose their last one.

Back to the OP. I never played marbles. I guess it's kinda like that POG craze? I didn't partake of that, either. But I did smoke a lot of pot. So there is that.

I could've fit about a dozen of your Crown Royal sacks in my bag. My mom actually made one for me because the others were too small.

Marbles became worthless to me because I had so many. I played for boulders, steelies, clackers (quite the prize). I even won a couple of croquet balls.

Actually, I did play for one kind of marble: pearlies. Had a huge collection of those. My prize was a steelie that weighed about 5 pounds.

No quitsies and we definitely played keepsies every game.
