Good, Colts need a ready kicker. Adam V. wasn't ready.

Figured you guys would get a kick out of this (get it, kick).

I can only hope you guys battle the Jests tooth and nail. Then, from your own 28 on 4th and 22 Pay-a-ton throws the signature pass-interference ball to the Jests 32.

FG attempt to go ahead down 20-19.

Snap is down, Stover steps, and craps his shorts causing a hook wide left. Game over.

We take care of business and the AFCCG is in Foxboro baby!

Benched? Vinatieri has been injured all season. He's not ready to come back, yet.

A 37-yr old kicker with a bad knee.

His best years ended in New England. Apparently, so does every other player's.

Coltsfan2theend

He played in the last game atleast. Possibly the Jets game. I know he missed an easy kick, but don't remember what game. If it was the Bills game, if it was, the weather played a factor.

I agree, it was too early. But Stover is the starter. And Adam V. was playing in a game I watched.

He kicked one field goal in the Jets game, and did not play in the Bills game.

Apparently you have missed the 2001 playoff game in which he kicked the game tying and game winning field goals with a white-out snowstorm going on. Weather has never been a factor for Adam....

He's done.

He had more FGs in that one five FG game than Peyton had TDs in the entire playoffs... two more. Colts MVP is piped in crowd noise.

I think it was four...

He was a hugely clutch player with the Pats and I appreciate that.
I also realize that he wanted what he felt was best for him and wanted to kick in a dome. Oh well, that's FA, and his right. I gots no love for him now with the way he left. Much like I didn't with some other FAs. Some I still like and respect because they still feel they are Pats, like Willie Mac.
And I love Ghost and wouldn't swap 'em. Not when it first happened and not now. :D

I just didn't like the way he left.. If they cut him and he went to the Colts, then I'd be okay with it.. You wonder what these guys are thinking, I know he got another ring, but he'll never have a bronze statue in Foxboro now.. he could have been up there with Bobby Orr, Ted Williams and Larry Bird and he's a freaking FG kicker, but he was too stupid to see that and left for a dome? Now he's going to retire and he'll get a AV scarecrow in a cornfield somewhere that nobody will ever see.

Why “Children of the Soy” is just wrong (http://robinabrahams.com/2009/10/why-children-of-the-soy-is-just-wrong/)

I’d gotten into a horror-fiction kick a while back, and noticed that every New England gothic that deals with the human or supernatural evil of some little farming town — it’s always about corn. From “The Lottery” to Children of the Corn to Harvest Home. Corn is the basis of the community, the source and/or excuse for the evil. So I figured, hey, I know someone who manages a farm, I wonder what Verena would say about this. I mean, get two women together, one of whom did a dissertation on literary genre and one of whom is a farmer, and surely we could figure out this “evil corn” thing, right? I had a few ideas of my own, so I shot them off to her. Here they are, and her responses:
