We're apparently ahead of the curve and psychic - my entire family has been stuck in talk-like-a-pirate mode for about a week and a half now.

At dinner last night, my not-quite-7-year old daughter closes one eye and says: "Arrgh, Captain, which landlubber we be thankin' for bringin' this fine cow aboard?" and this makes my little 3 1/2 year old jump up from her seat, point out the window and say: "Oh, no! Waves, Captain! Pull up the anchor!" and start cranking the window open. And that's before the boys (6 and 4 1/2) started in.
