I just wanted to put in my two cents. When it's pretty much 0 degrees with the wind chill, it must be hard to use the old fingers to play instruments, and hard to sing too. Whether you are a professional, or just an amateur. I was outside last night for a while....bone chilling cold....

Dick Clark should have retired when I was a teenager. He's like 1000 years old, has had a stroke, more face lifts than is natural. In fact, he's had so many lifts, I'm surprised his nose isn't a lot bigger, and he has balls on his chin.

Ya know, personally I had to admit that I didn't think he looked quite as bad this year. Obviously, the remnants of the stroke are still very much present, but he seemed a bit more coherent. Where last year looked like they had propped him up in front of the camera, this year was more like a man whose body has gone, but the mind is still in there.

I'll say this much. The first broadcast after he dies or retires (which ever happens first) just isn't going to be the same. In large part because an icon will be gone, but even more so because Ryan effing Seacrest will be the main host.... :Eason:
