Pretty goal by Lanny Gare, vs UMO at the Verizon. Gare stole it along the boards at the blue line, beat the Dman and held it until Howard went down, then buried it. You an see the puck in front of the far post.

Minnesota Deluth just won the women's final vs. Harvard in double OT for their third straight championship. I didn't see the first two periods but the last "three" were great.

I didn't see it. Alice, what happened to vaunted Hahvahd? Course, the UNH women didn't make the tourney.

IMO, Div 1 Women's hockey has grown to the point that they should expand their F4 to 8 teams. That they are now selling games out, is a good sign for the future. Capitalize on it now.

UNH at #3 in the Pairwise, and BU at #5. The 'Cats get the #1 seed, and don't have to travel west.

Of course, they are in the same regional as BU. BU historically has bested UNH, and may be looking for revenge for the HE tourney, should the two meet in the final of the Worcester regional.

Come on 'Cats, let's do it! Make this the year!!!

I don't know Huggon personally, but I do know two of the freshmen, Lindsay Hansen and Vicki Davis.

I'm a TA for the Stagecraft class in the theatre department, and I have those two (along with a couple of the female soccer players) in my Wednesday lab hours. Both are pretty cool, and eye candy to boot.

Hansen is actually a big contributer, and was 6th on the team in points this year with 27(10/27). Davis is 11th with 17 points (7/10).

Funny thing I noticed though on the UNH athletic website. All the men's teams list H/W, but the women's rosters only list height. Isn't that overdoing it a bit?
