Yes, you read right. I am starting my own official thread. Here I will post pictures( don't get to excited, not THOSE pictures) and general topics pertaining to the various stuff I like to talk about. That way, I won't hog most of the threads here or start endless threads about nothing. There are times I want to make a simple comment but have no place to put it and won't start a thread for something that small so here is where I can place it.

Yeah its a chance for me to post whore like no ones business, I will admit it but so what?

It is the official thread of PP's pickle darn it and will run amuck on it.

Upload them to PB or you can right click on a slew of them from the folder view and click "email. . ." it will then ask you if you want to make the files sizes smaller. Say "yes". IT will attach them all as new files to a blank email. You can simply click the attachments and save them wherever you like on your computer.

BOU knows, amateurish, but it works.

When you right-click on a photo and go to "Open With," do any of the choices that come up have any kind of photo editing capabilities?

I have two online friends who I have never met but they know about my love for my NE teams. While John who lives in LA(the state) and Sarah who lives in CA don't follow sports or really care for it they do indulge me with my addiction with gifts from time to time. They been very good to me.

One of the items is a blanket that John's wife made just for me, she is a Saint fan and basically told me " I like you , only reason this is being made" since she is a Saint fan foremost.

Here is the link to show off the items
I will try to do what Bolt has suggested and am waiting on BY to get back to me as well, and see if between their help I can figure out how to minimize pictures.

Until then, here is the link

I been using this handle for years, since the mid 90's. I did not name myself after the rock group Muse, nope. I got it from the 9 muses of Greek mythology
The Nine Muses

The Nine Muses were Greek goddesses who ruled over the arts and sciences and offered inspiration in those subjects. They were the daughters of Zeus, lord of all gods, and Mnemosyne, who represented memory. Memory was important for the Muses because in ancient times, when there were no books, poets had to carry their work in their memories.

Muse

Calliope was the muse of epic poetry.

Clio was the muse of history.

Erato was the muse of love poetry.

Euterpe was the muse of music.

Melpomene was the muse of tragedy.

Polyhymnia was the muse of sacred poetry.

Terpsichore was the muse of dance.

Thalia was the muse of comedy.

Urania was the muse of astronomy.

Are ya having a good day? Don't eat tomatoes btw.

Strange cute lady: "What is your name?"
Me: "Jessica"
Strange cute lady: "How old are you?"
Me: "24"
Strange cute lady: "Do you have a boyfriend?"
Me: "Not at the moment."

she turns around and runs off. I don't know if she wanted to know for herself or if some guy put her up to asking me the questions. The thing that was odd to me is the fact that she turned around real fast and ran off. I was like WTF!

Well that was the highlight of my day.

How to make pickles

Making and canning your own pickles, gherkins, kosher dills, bread and butter, sweet pickles, etc. is one of the easiest things you can do with produce! Here's how to do it, in easy steps and completely illustrated. It is much faster than the old method your grandmother used with tons of pickling salt and de-scumming the brine! Ugh! This method is so easy, ANYONE can do this! It's a great thing to do with your kids! I'm experimenting with the various techniques, such as soaking the cucumbers overnight in lime solution first, using "pickle crisp" etc.

Types of Pickles

* Fresh-pack (or quick process) pickles are cured for several hours in a vinegar solution or are immediately combined with hot vinegar, spices, and seasonings. Examples include dills, bread-and-butter pickles and pickled beets.
# Fermented pickles are vegetables soaked in a brine solution for 4 to 6 weeks. During this time, lactic acid bacteria, naturally present on the surface of vegetables, grows. Other microbes are inhibited by salt. The color of the vegetables changes from bright green to olive/yellow-green, and the white interior becomes translucent. Examples include dill pickles and sauerkraut.
# Refrigerated dills are cucumbers marinated for 1 day to 1 week in a salt and spice brine (in the fridge) and then stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 months. No canning is required! See this page for refrigerated dill pickle directions!
# Fruit pickles are whole or sliced fruit simmered in a spicy, sweet-sour syrup. Examples include spiced peaches and crabapples. See this page for directions to make spiced peaches!
# Relishes are made from chopped fruits or vegetables that are cooked to a desired consistency in a spicy vinegar solution. Examples include corn relish and horseradish.

Ingredients and Equipment

* Cucumbers - fresh, crisp - not wilted, soft or overripe!
* Quick Process Pickling mix - It usually goes for about $2.00 to $4.00 per packet. A packet will make about a dozen pint jars.
* Clear vinegar (5%, apple cider vinegar works well. Store brand is about $1.25 for a 64 oz bottle.
* Jar grabber (to pick up the hot jars)
* Lid lifter (has a magnet to pick the lids out of the boiling water where you sterilize them. ($2 at WalMart, Target, and sometimes at grocery stores)
* Jar funnel ($2 at WalMart, Target, and sometimes at grocery stores)
* 1 large pots; teflon lined, glass or ceramic.
* Large spoons and ladles
* 1 Canner (a huge pot to sterilize the jars after filling (about $30 to $35 at mall kitchen stores, sometimes at WalMart (seasonal item). Note: we sell many sizes and types of canners for all types of stoves and needs - see canning supplies
* Pint canning jars (Ball or Kerr jars can be found at Publix and WalMart - about $8 per dozen jars including the lids and rings). Be sure to get wide mouth jars to fit the pickles in! Pint size works best!
* Lids - thin, flat, round metal lids with a gum binder that seals them against the top of the jar. They may only be used once.
* Rings - metal bands that secure the lids to the jars. They may be reused many times.

One day a cucumber, pickle and a penis were having a conversation.

The Pickle says, "You know, my life really sucks. Whenever I get big fat and juicy they sprinkle seasonings on my and stick me in a jar.

The Cucumber says, "Yeah, you think that's bad? Whenever I get big, fat and juicy, they slice me up and put me in a salad.

The Penis says, "You think that your lives are tough? Whenever I get big, fat and juicy they throw a plastic bag over my head, shove me in a wet, dark, smelly room, and force me to do push-ups until I puke and pass out!

A song by Chuck Berry

My Ding-A-Ling-A-Ling

When I was a little biddy boy
My grandma bought me a cute little toy
Two Silver bells on a string
She told me it was my ding-a-ling-a-ling

My Ding-A-Ling My Ding-A-Ling won't you play with My Ding-A-Ling
My Ding-A-Ling My Ding-A-Ling won't you play with My Ding-A-Ling

When I was little boy In Grammar school
Always went by the very best rule
But Evertime the bell would ring
You'd catch me playing with my ding-a-ling

Once while climbing the garden wall,
Slipped and fell had a very bad fall
I fell so hard I heard birds sing,
But I held on to My ding-a-ling

Once while swimming cross turtle creek
Man them snappers right at my feet
Sure was hard swimming cross that thing
with both hands holding my dingaling

Now this here song it ain't so bad
Prettiest little song that you ever had
And those of you who will not sing
must be playing with your on Ding-a-ling

Not anything more than a regular cat. They are twins...one boy, one girl. They sleep most of the time, so they don't eat all that much.

But...at night....they hunt. They bring home "things." I guess they think I like the gifts.:spock:

Tight skirt, bus stop

One day, at a bus stop there was a girl who was wearing a skintight miniskirt. When the bus arrived and it was her turn to get on, she realized that her skirt was so tight she couldn't get her foot high enough to reach to step.

Thinking it would give her enough slack to raise her leg, she reached back and unzipped her skirt a little. She still could not reach the step. Embarrassed, she reached back once again to unzip it a little more. Still, she couldn't reach the step.

So, with her skirt zipper halfway down, she reached back and unzipped her skirt all the way. Thinking that she could get on the step now, she lifted up her leg only to realize that she still couldn't reach the step.

So, seeing how embarrassed the girl was, the man standing behind her put his hands around her waist and lifted her up on to the first step of the bus. The girl turned around furiously and said, "How dare you touch my body that way, I don't even know you!"

Shocked, the man says, "Well, ma'am, after you reached around and unzipped my fly three times, I kinda figured that we were friends."

George Carlin's
Solution to Save Gasoline

Bush wants us
to cut the amount of gas we use.....
The best way to stop using so much gas is to deport 11 million illegal immigrants!

That would be
11 million less people using our gas. The price of gas
would come down.....

Bring our troops home from Iraq to
guard the Border....

When they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the border, hand him a
canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship him to Iraq ..

Tell him if he wants to come to America then
he must serve a tour in the military....

Give him a
soldier's pay while he's there and tax him on it......

After his tour, he will be allowed to become a citizen since he defended
this country.....

He will also
be registered to be taxed and be a legal patriot.... .

This option will probably deter illegal immigration and provide a
solution for the troops in Iraq and
the aliens trying to make a better life for themselves..
....
If they refuse
to serve, ship them to Iraq
anyway, without the canteen, rifle or ammo.....

Problem solved.....

SHAWNEE, Kan. - George Chandler said he feels fine, even though a nailgun fired a 2.5 inch nail into the top of his head on Friday. Chandler and a friend were doing a project in a backyard when the nailgun hose became tangled, causing the tool to fire one nail.

Chandler said Monday he told his friend he didn't know where the nail went, but he felt a sting on the top of his head.

They discovered that the nail was driven deep into Chandler's head, so they called an ambulance and he was rushed to a hospital.

Chandler said a doctor used a common claw hammer to remove the nail.

He said he feels "very lucky, very, very lucky" to have escaped serious injury.

Can yoga help make you rich?
A few isolated tree poses won't do the trick, but some of yoga's traditional practices and insights can make it easier to balance your finances as well as your body.

Want to be more financially secure? Do yoga.

I'm serious. Yoga helps keep us from being run ragged by our emotions. It teaches us to breathe when the going gets tough and reduces our stress and anxiety.

Learn a yoga move to reduce money stress

And once we've got our emotions under control, we can make smarter decisions about our finances -- and about the rest of our lives.

"Once you get emotional on any topic, you're probably going to make mistakes," TD Ameritrade CEO Joe Moglia cautions.

Some of this I've learned from experience. I'm a certified financial planner by day and a yogi by dawn. For 17 years, I've started my mornings at 5:30 with a two-hour practice of the ancient Ashtanga system of yoga postures. As I've gone from the yoga studio to client meetings, I've noticed that conventional financial wisdom doesn't work for the great majority of people.

See Brent's extreme yoga workout

Below, I've outlined a few yoga-based tips for getting your finances in focus. But first let me explain why yoga matters in the first place.

Our cultural norms tell us it's all about the money -- that more money will bring us the freedom to stop worrying and just enjoy life. We are told to spend less, to save more, to find the perfect career or even to think positive thoughts that will create the abundance we want. We set goals, create budgets, put the right insurance in place, write updated wills and estate plans, and invest as told.

But these actions, though important, aren't enough because they approach money from the outside in, rather than from the inside out. There is an implicit assumption that something must change "out there" in order to be happier "in here."

Money: 'The root of all good'?

This is where yoga comes in. My book, "It's Not About the Money," shows people how yoga's self-awareness tools can improve their financial lives. Instead of telling us to change our external behaviors, yoga helps us understand what's going on inside us. It helps us gain a better understanding of who we are, why we behave in certain ways when we're stressed or anxious and what the root causes of our suffering are. Studies already tell us that yoga can help sufferers cope with back pain, multiple sclerosis, insomnia, cancer, heart disease and even tuberculosis. This same awareness also can help us tremendously when we apply it to our finances.

Here are four yoga-inspired recommendations to help put your mind over your money matters:

5 great ways to give happiness
A plastic gift card isn't really going to show your best friend you love her. These smart tips help you beat mall stress -- and pick presents your friends and family really want.

I love gifts as much as the next person -- love giving 'em, love getting 'em. Gifts are a natural manifestation of the love and joy we hope to share with our nearest and dearest (and sometimes the boss, too).

The trouble is that in many cases—certain holidays, birthdays and artificial pressure-cooker events like Valentine's Day--gift-giving can devolve into an expensive material exchange, in which obligation plays a bigger role than the pleasure we're supposed to be sharing.

It's time for a reality check. Video: $0 gifts between friends

Let's recapture the spirit of giving by taking a hiatus from stuff and focusing on -- I don't know, call me crazy -- how about fun? How about having an unforgettably good time?

Rather than succumb to the undertow of shop-more-buy-more-get-more, we need to admit the painful truth: No one wants another Gap sweater.
What you really, really want

What do you want? What do I want? What do most human beings really secretly hope to find when they tear through the wrapping paper of life?

We want to be happy. We want to revel in our lives – reveling being in particularly short supply for most overtaxed Americans. We want to break out of the tedium of everyday life and remember, as Jim Bouton so memorably wrote in "Ball Four" (my husband's favorite baseball book), to tingle.

So what does that mean, and wouldn't a new iPod count? Video: Give a 'soundtrack to his life'

I spent two years researching a book about what makes people happy, why most people spend money on things that don't make us happy -- and how we can learn to invest more in the stuff that does. (It's called "Money Can Buy Happiness," if you're interested.)

What I discovered: Cashmere hoodies and flat-screen TVs are great, but like most material goods they bring only a fleeting sort of happiness. Video: MP's gift swap

It isn't exactly news; wise men and women have been whistling this tune for thousands of years.

What is new, however, is the proof -- in this case, data from numerous studies by behavioral economists, psychologists and even neurobiologists.
