Harold's NY Deli is not actually in New York, but no trip to the East Coast would be complete without a stop here. The non-Kosher Jewish deli is home to some of the best corned beef around, though my favorite...hands down...is the turkey. Here, sandwiches and most everything else must be shared, unless you have an awesome appetite.
On this particular visit, my mom, step-dad, husband, and I shared one two meat sandwich with leftovers. Of course, we got corned beef and turkey. Harold's gives you all the bread you want to eat this supposedly 26 ounce sandwich (they must be generous because this was more than 2 pounds of meat). I routinely order the seedless rye, while my mother ordered the dark rye, and the men got regular seeded rye.
Did I mention Harold's is famous for "The World's Largest Pickle Bar" and has a sign to prove it? I'm not a fan of pickles, but pickle lovers can try many different varieties including Kosher Dill, bread and butter, sweet pickles, and healthy slaw at the bar. I prefer the fattening, sweet coleslaw that gets brought out with your sandwich.
Also a must are the fries with cheddar cheese. One order was enough to feed all four of us, with leftovers. One thing to be sure to order? Dessert! But as with everything else at Harold's, you must share the gargantuan treats. An eclair is about 2 feet long and 8 inches around!
Be prepared to spend $15-20 per person for a well-rounded meal. In our case, we spent only about $60 for the four of us, but were stuffed and had leftovers. On this trip, we didn't get a chance to eat breakfast here, but be assured that a side of bacon is one full pound...and even the bacon and egg sandwich has that much on it! I love Harold's so much, I may ask Mom to send me some FedEx overnight pronto. My mouth is watering just thinking of it!

The game was great. It was nice being in the luxury box. The food was great and free beer. It was a little too "stuffy" for my taste. Everyone was dressed nice (except us) and very country club like. I would have rather been in the 300's getting my rowdy on. I put the pics in an album on my user page. They are not in order, sorry.
