Unbelievable game. Both teams played great defense, and Fields stood on his head all game. Even the winning goal was deflected in off a BU Dman's stick.

Were ya surprised at the game against UMASS? Being that I have ties to UMASS I was cheering them on the whole way. Hell, I thought they were going to pull it off for awhile. It was a great game.

Congrats on the BU victory, I just wish I had the chance to see it.

No, not surprised at all. Umass played UNH tough each game this year, and they were hot and confident, with nothing to lose.

Granted, I think Hanson blew two critical calls on goals. The first, a linesman blew a whistle, even though the puck clearly wasn't dead. Should've been a UNH goal, but because of the whistle, it couldn't be reviewed. Then on UMass' 4th goal, Ayers had it stopped between his pads for at least 2 seconds, and no whistle was blown, and then it was knocked loose and in. They are supposed to whistle it dead as soon as it is killed.

But no use worrying.....UNH won, but Umass looks like they are gonna make some noise in Hockey East in the future.
