According to Mitch "Tuesday's with Morrie" Albom the "new" Walsh tapes prove BB should be suspended!!!! "It wasn't just 2006-07 they were taping... the new tapes are from 2000-02... do you really think they weren't taping from 2003-05!!!!!!!!" Thanks Mitch... we the 2% of football fans in the Patriots corner appreciate the hard work and vast research that went into this piece for Sports Reporters. We also appreciate the other 3 panelists for agreeing with these startling revelations. Thanks guys!!

And thank you Roger Goodell for so royally F*CKING this thing up from the beginning that the Patriots will likely never be able to recover (reputation) from this.

Let's start from the beginning... The Patriots were caught breaking a league rule (not a law of the State of New York) against videotaping from the sideline during a game. Bill Belichick speakes to Goodell and admits to taping offensive personel grouping signals and defensive signals since 2000. The NFL punishes the Patriots a 1st round pick and $750k in fines, and issues a press release stating the punishment is for the "totality" of taping "offensive" and "defensive" signals.... never mentioning that BB admited to taping since 2000. Also, Goodell has all the evidence destroyed... Thanks again Roger!!!Around this time Matt Walsh starts to get his name into the medias hands by "anonymous" emails.

The Patriots run up the score in 2 games (Redskins/Bills) during the season but are branded "evil & poor sports" by the national media.

2 days before the Super Bowl Arlen Specter and Matt Walsh surface in the NY Times. Fat Boy Tomase drops his donut and decides he better rush his "walk-through scoop" to print.

In the weeks after the Super Bowl, Specter pushes Goodell and finally gets him to say on the record that BB admitted to taping since 2000. This was actually a good thing by Specter, as Mike Reiss points out in the Globe. Thanks again and again Roger for keeping that secret so long. This revelation by Goodell appears to cut Matt Walsh's "new" info off at the knee's.
But Walsh and his lawyer allow everyone to think he has a walk-through tape for 3 months... Thank you disgruntled former employee Walsh.

Walsh's tapes are delivered to the NFL... shockingly, no walk-though tape is included. Still, the national media harp on "offensive" signals. Too difficult to google all the way back to September I guess???

Thank you VERY MUCH Roger Goodell for getting this wrong EVERY step of the way.

The Patriots are also to blame for the poor perception of Spygate. I would have thought a businessman like Bob Kraft would do a much better job of protecting his brand and making sure the correct information was out there, regardless of what Goodell wanted to withhold. I really hope when this is done they have a press conference and answer EVERY question in the room and make sure the media have ALL the facts... so we don't end up with the Mitch Albom's of the world stating on May 11th that the "new" Walsh tapes prove they taped from 2003-05!!!!!! Thanks for the update Mitch!!!!!!

There will always be a bunch of a-holes trying to bring attention to themselves. The sports has become bigger over the years and the quality has become smaller.

Goodell set the tone for this by his hissy fit and overly harsh punishment when this happened in September. I thought that the Patriots should have challenged him right then and there.

ESPN found a scandal.

The Honorable Alen Spector is staying bought by COMCAST.

Roger Goodall is :jerkit::terrible:, but at least he's having fun.

Two months to Training Camp, give or take a week. :thumb:

I have already cast aspersions towards this claim here. (http://www.patriotsplanet.com/BB/showpost.php?p=728307&postcount=76)

Albom can shove it up his lily-white arse. "Do you really think they weren't taping from 2003-05?" BB ALREADY SAID THEY DID, MORON!!!

Goodell handed out an unprecedented penalty that did NOT fit the crime, but now you still want him suspended too? GFY!

If I had known the guy was such a douchebag I never would have bought his book - The Five People You Meet in Heaven - for my wife for Christmas.

Just out of curiosity, Hart, who were the other three panelists? I'd bet my house one of them was Mike Lupica.

I suspect Hart does for the same reason I do - we both live way outside New England and thus it's our primary source for info on the Patriots as well as the rest of the league, since here it's all "Packers! Packers! Packers won three Super Bowls a generation ago! Packers! Oh, and there's 31 other teams in the league they play against, but who cares about them?! Packers!"

Except of course where Hart is it's "Seahawks! Seahawks!"

To clarify, I don't watch much ESPN (except for PTI, which I will continue watching even if ESPN calls for the Patriots to be drawn and quartered) but I often listen to ESPN radio if I'm in the car during the day for the same reason listed above.

I happened to be working out this morning and the TV was tuned to ESPN... I don't usually watch that crap. The moderator was John Saunders and I'm not certain who the other two were, but I'm reasonably sure one of them was Wandering Athol!!!!

As for the pencil-necked geek JC, he's from my area. Back in the day (early to mid-90's... before Sunday Ticket) I used to watch games with him at a sport bar near Sea-Tac airport (very few places carried all the games back then and you literally had to fight to get the Pats on). I think he was writing for the Tacoma News Tribune at the time and filing the occasional report for ESPN. He's always been a little weasel who has a bias towards his favorite team the Steelers.

All that was was a attempt by ESPN to try to keep this story alive. It pathetic a course ESPN would not know professional journal if it bite them in the ass. They are nothing but a tabloid network. Who has been talking about there hate for the pats all year long.

I only watch ESPN for PTI and NFL PRIMETIME that it.

These guys on ESPN are just parroting what the New York Times has been saying:

Sympathy for the Hooded One
-performed by the Rolling Stones, written by ESPN

Please allow me to introduce myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for 56 long years
Stole many a fan's soul and faith

And I was 'round when Bill Parcells
Had his moment of doubt and pain
Made damn sure that George Young
Washed his hands and sealed his fate

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game

I stuck around in Cleveland
When I saw it was a time for a change
Moved Modell and his administators
The Dog Pound screamed in vain

At Tuna's flank
Held an Assistant Head Coaches' rank
When the Green Bay blitz raged
And the Patriots sank

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name, oh yeah
What's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, oh yeah

I watched with glee
While the Bronx and Queens
Fought for fours decades
But bait & switch I played

I shouted out
"Who killed the NFL's integrity?"
When after all
It was you and me

Let me please introduce myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
And I laid sand traps for golf pros
Who get drilled before they reach this Tuesday

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, oh yeah, get down, baby

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah
But what's confusing you
Is just the nature of my game

Just as every Kraft is a criminal
And all the Mangini's saints
As heads is tails
Just call me Belichick
'Cause I'm in need of some restraint

So if you meet me
Have some courtesy
Have some sympathy, and some taste
Specter can use all his well-learned politesse
But I still laid his team to waste, um yeah

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, um yeah
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, um baby, get down

Woo, who
Oh yeah, get on down
Oh yeah
Oh yeah!

Tell me Tomase, what's my name
Tell me Easterbrook, baby guess my name
Tell me Peter King, what's my name
I tell you one time, you're to blame

Ooo, who
Ooo, who
Ooo, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Oh, yeah

What's my name
Tell me, Dungy, what's my name
Tell me, Goodell, what's my name

Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Oh, yeah
