Hey all, this will be my last post for a while as I am heading to Quebec City for almost two weeks for our Annual Conference. I will also be finding out if I keep my contract up there so I may be very happy or sad in early March.

However, to the point at hand. With Kordell (whom I loath) leaving Pittsburg there is a chance he will be playing in the NFL. Is this a good thing or a bad thing for the Pats. As much as I despise him I loved playing against him because he ALWAYS threw a lot of INTs! So if he goes to the NFC, will you be happy or sad? Just curious.

Hey, OttawaPatty/Matt--
Have fun at the conference and good luck on getting your contract re-newed... :) Remember the Power of Positive thinking and all will work out for you... :)
Regarding Kordell--Because of the success that we have had against him, as you said, I would like to see him remain in the AFC... But, where would he go? Is there any buzz about anyone showing interest in him?...
Safe travels, Man! :)
p.s.--I have been meaning to mention this to you: Although you are "special" because you were the 100th member here; you have also set yourself apart (in a GOOD way), by being a fun, quirky, breath of fresh air around here! I enjoy reading your stuff and I hope that you continue to be a presence here. :)

I hope they extend your contract and you get a $6,000,000 signing bonus as well. If not, hold out man.... hold out for Free Agency.... you're worth it!

I'd love to see Kordell remain in the AFC.... Jacksonville????? He is an interception machine against the Pats and I'd hate to give up a couple of freebie INT's to the NFC!! :D

Then again, they might just pin the "franchise" take on OttawaPatty, effectively taking him out of the free agent market.

Matt-
Good luck in Quebec City, buddy! Enjoy the poutine, and go easy on the cariboo!

Kordell is EXACTLY the type of player you want one of your rivals (all of your rivals) to have. He can single-handedly lose games and that kind of ability is hard to find. A guy like Kordell makes your whole defense better.

The best thing that could happen is for the Steelers to sign him to an extension. However, if he is just going to be sitting on the bench for the Steelers I would rather see him signed to an AFC rival he could start for -- I just don't think there are any out there dumb enough to do it beside the Steelers. Cincinatti might have before Mariucci arrived.

SLASH! Check out this poster I found of him! It is like some b-movie promo for a 70's action-hero. What was that movie they did a remake of with Samuel Jackson? SHAFT! According to this SHAFT! can not only be a QB but a RB, WR and punter. He can even intercept his own pass.
