Pats looking at CB Jenkins at #7

Found this link on Fox Sports.com. Interesting info on Jenkins vs. Talib and McKelvin. Pick would make sense if he's as good as the scouts in this article think he is.... especially since Gholston will likely be long gone. Also, it would be nice to get the other USF corner in the 5th or lower.

Interesting read. Jenkins is indeed a top CB, the negatives that surface for him are inconsistency, run support, reported off-field incidents, and a concern about his physicality. Leodis McKelvin and Aqib Talib ranking a shade behind him in the former scout's notes is consistent with everything else I've read. Each has some gaps in their game, I'd say the key in ranking them will depend on what the gaps are and how well they are projected to develop within the Pats' system.

For myself, I'd rank them: Talib, McKelvin, Jenkins. For Rogers-Cromartie fans, I suspect the Pats will hang a second round grade on him, especially with the latest word that he only has one kidney.
