HOME: Jets, Miami, Buffalo, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Cleveland, Dallas, Giants
AWAY: Jets, Miami, Buffalo, Houston, Indianapolis, Denver, Philadelphia, Washington.
My thoughts...First, it'll be an exciting home schedule. I don't think there's a dud in the list.
For what seems the bazzilionth year in a row we play Denver. They're starting to feel like a division rival.
The road schedule doesn't seem overly punishing. Philly and Denver will be tough but the Texans, 'Skins and Colts don't scare me.
In general, the schedule is not as tough as this year's, but every new season brings some surprises.
Finally, July seems a far way off this year but I'll be counting down the weeks.

Amazing how they come up with these random schedules every year that always involve us playing Denver. It is almost as if the coin that they toss has a horse head on one side. Why Denver? I understand about the rotating divisions. Why couldn't our random "rival" be Cincinnati?
In this age of parity there is no such thing as an easy schedule. We didn't have the most difficult schedule in the league this year (although it had to be close) and yet even the gimme's like Detroit were far from a sure thing.
Yeah--what is UP with our having to play Denver every freakin' year?!?! Geez--I wouldn't mind so much if we did well against them, but we seem to be "spectacularly unsuccessful" against them... (I love that oxy-moron!) Like you said: Give us Cincy!! :)
I am behind Alice's rosey assessment of our schedule next season... :)
How many days until Training Camp?! :)
Seriously though, I am going to make my visit to TC be an annual trek from now on... It was a great experience and I plan to bring my nephew with me this time... :)
NR--I think that it was you that made a good point about the Draft and off season signings... This year we will have the time and the energy to focus on these very important facets of the game... That should make a big difference... I foresee some retirements: O-T-I-S, my beloved TJ, Pleasant (he gave an amazingly heartfelt talk to the TEAM prior to the game and I believe it is partly because he is thinking about retiring...) There will probably be others, as well... Those are just off the top of my head... Thanks for the Memories, guys! :)

Training camp is great...my first time going down was in 2001, and that'd be when I got Adam Vinatierri's autograph when not so many people knew his name. lol Got a whole bunch last year and this past year. But just to go down and see the practices is a blast. One gets a feel for the tone that is being set for the year. Back in 2001 they were fired up and having fun, and this past year there was just something lacking from day one(okay Day Two because thats the day I went down). The team is now in a spot to relax and not have to deal with all the Super Bowl chatter. When this team goes back they'll know how to handle the aftermath of it better, and possibly have a better chance of repeating then.
I'm not sure how many here listen to WEEI but I was listening in on Monday I think and they were talking to Tom and he is very excited about Dan Graham playing next year. It wasn't just teammate speak either, if you know what I mean by that. Gotta go for now but you all have a wonderful New Year and look forward to discussing this further with everyone. Later!
