With the Oakland Satans putting a hurting on KC (currently 17-0 in the 4th), any strange chances that the Pats may have had for a wild card berth are dwindling.

If the Jets beat the Packers, the only scenario left that could get us a wildcard would be for Cleveland to lose to Atlanta (could happen) + Denver loses to Arizona (doubtful) + S.Diego loses to Seattle (oy). The inevitable is taking place. We obviously have to win and the Jets absolutely have to lose!

As much as I hate to say it, I agreet that the Raiders look like the SB team for the AFC..... But isn't that what "the experts" were pretty much saying last year? Hmmm.... Any given Sunday.

You are an enigma Alice. That is a noble position and all but this is the Raiders we are talking about. What happened to the wisdom of "hack the bone, hack the bone"? Were those just pretty words?

I hope we stumble in at 9-7 and stay alive only long enough to beat Oakland on a controversial play during a power outage. Some would call that spite. Is it so wrong? When did you stop believing that we can't change the world so we might as well profit from it? What happened to the Alice that I used to know?
