Well....Hi ya'll

I am a New Englander by birth ( New Hampshire) but a PATS Fan by choice and until the day I die....I wasn't much into the patriots until 1998, when I married my husband, a PATS fan born and raised in Danvers, MA.. He taught me the game...and how to appreciate a really great game on TV (with a Sam Adams and a big New Yorker Pizza from Pizza hut) and now I never miss a game on TV...

My favorite player would have to be Tom Brady (come on..I am a 23 year old female....who else would I pick??)...

I can't wait to see these guys go back to the Super Bowl and win..(I am the eternal optimist)

oh yeah..what is an avatar and how do i get one?

Welcome PB,

You just need to go to MyPatsPlanet/Edit Options and all the way down at the bottom you will see something called "Avatar". It is an image that represents you on the board. That can be any image (such as your flashing helmet) provided it is not too large. I am fairly certain that your butterfly will be too large. It must reside on your hard drive. Then simply select "change avatar", browse to the file and select it.

Enjoy.

Cool to have another female Pats fan, especially another "eternal optimist!" :)
I prefer to look at life through rose-colored glasses and I firmly believe that is why I have managed to hang with this TEAM and support them for 31 years... :) (God knows, I have endured some unrelenting scoffing over the years...)
But, I ALWAYS assume that things will turn out well and if they don't, then I am SURE that next season will be better!... Although I must say that last year's SB Championship will probably keep me going for another decade or so! LOL! :)
Anyhoo--welcome aboard, fellow fan! :)

Welcome to the board PB!

I would love to see the Pats win today as well but I agree with Alice....when you play without heart its very difficult to find it that fast again. It'd be nice to hear that these last two losses were just some big joke and see the Patriots play to their full potential today.
