This will probably be the first "bad guy" post of the board, but here goes anyway.

Why is it a travesty? I honestly believe you could make a good argument for either Favre or Holmes.

Favre is the web that has held his team together for almost a decade, and he still continues to get the job done.

IMO he is the MVP of the league.

However, if Holmes breaks the TD record for a season (I think he only needs 3 or 4 more) and the Chiefs make the playoffs - a good argument could be made for him as well.

Bledsoe is a nice bleeding heart story, but he is not MVP.

This certainly isn't a bad guy post at all KCW. If you saw of the knuckleheads that visit the patriots.com message board.... well, let's just say that you're Mother Theresa!

Anyway, I think what NEM's beef is (and mine too) is that there aren't any Pats listed in the top 10 for any categories, except for Larry Izzo who is truly a special teams anomoly. I think you're right on about Favre and maybe Holmes..... but what do you think about Vick as MVP if the Falcons can pick it back up and finish strong after their loss today to TB? The Falcons, in my opinion, would be cellar dwellers right now were it not for Mike Vick.

That is pretty much what my beef is. Once again, the Pats players are not getting any respect.

Tom Brady leads the NFL in TD passes and has his team in first place in the division.

Troy Brown has a shitload of catches and is one of the leaders, in that category, AGAIN.

Defensively Law and the Lawyer are playing superb football, as is Tebucky and Tedy Bruschi as well as Richard Seymour.

I am not saying that they are the BEST at their positions, but they certainly deserve more votes than they are getting...

And, how about Woody, he might be one of the best centers in the NFL right now, and where are his votes?

And Adam Vinatieri not even listed, THAT IS A TRAVESTY OF THE THIRD KIND...... (wasn't that a movie?}

Pats fans need to be alerted to get out and vote. And VOTE OFTEN

Pookie - You can make an argument for Vick. But Holmes does everything Vick does as well. Scoring 40% of the team points and all on the ground.

And Holmes does it as prescribed to his position. Vick is a RB disguised as a QB. McNabb has the same style, but is a much much more prolific passer.

And let's be honest, Trent Green would not have the year he is having without Priest Holmes.

Like Vick, Holmes IS the offense.

I would take Favre today over Vick 100 times out of 100.

In 3 years I will probably say the exact opposite, but I honestly do not believe that Michael Vick is the Most Valuable Player of the entire NFL.

BTW - How is Law doing this year? I agree, he and Vinataeri (SP?) should be in the voting consistently.

I am not saying that all of those Pats players should be at the TOP of the voting. But, the fact that are not even mentioned shows, once again, a lack of respect for the BEST team in the NFL, until someone takes the title away from them.

I believe that the fact that they are being overlooked, again, will only make them play better...and, all they do is WIN, and that's the end of the story.

After the separation was announced, Lange told PEOPLE exclusively that an affair was "absolutely not the reason [for the breakup]... It's literally just a growing apart, that's all." He also denied that he was in a relationship with Thiébaud, saying, "It's not true."

Whatever the reason, Twain "is devastated," says the insider. "This came out of left field."
